Troubleshooting

Cause
The blast wheel blades are worn or dam-
aged.
Incorrect alignment of the impeller and con-
trol cage.
There are loose screws and nuts.
Incorrect V-belt tension.
A motor is damaged.
The wheels are damaged.
The supply of abrasive material to the blast
wheels is not sufficient.
The type of abrasive material is incorrect for
the surface.
The abrasive material has contamination.
The blast wheel blades, control cage or im-
peller are worn or damaged.
Too much abrasive material hits the surface
at the start of the operation.
The drive speed of the product is too high.
The magnetic seals are at an incorrect dis-
tance from the surface.
Damaged seals.
The quality of abrasive material is not satis-
factory.
Incorrect abrasive material.
A control cage is not installed correctly.
The dust collector does not give enough suc-
tion power.
Solution
Replace the parts that are worn or damaged.
Adjust the alignment of the control cage.
Tighten all screws and nuts.
Do a check of the V-belt tension. Refer to
do a check of the V-belt tension on page 23 .
Replace the motor. Speak to an approved
Husqvarna service agent.
Replace the wheels.
Clean the separator tray and fill the separator
with abrasive material.
Do a check of the feed spouts and the valves
for the abrasive material.
Replace the abrasive material with correct
abrasive material for the surface.
Do a check of the dust collector and dust
collector hose.
Replace the blast wheel blades, control cage
and/or impeller.
Close the valves for the abrasive material
and stop the product. Start the operation
again and slowly open the valves for the
abrasive material.
Decrease the drive speed.
Adjust the height of the magnetic seals.
Do a check of all the seals and replace if
necessary.

Adjust the control cage to set a better blast
pattern.
Do a check of the dust collector hoses and
the dust collector.
