4. Engage the drive system. Refer to
drive system on page 10 .
5. Operate the drive system lever.
6. Pull the control levers for the abrasive material to
open the valves for the abrasive material. Refer to

7. After 2 m/7 ft., close the valves for the abrasive
material and stop the product.
8. Do a check of the blast pattern. Adjust the blast
pattern if necessary. Refer to
pattern on page 17 .
9. Select the correct speed. Refer to
correct speed on page 16 .
10. Move the product (A) in parallel tracks. The dust
collector (B) must be connected to the product (A) by
the dust collector hose (C).

For a good result the hotspots must be equally applied

These are the conditions that have effect on the blast
pattern:
• The direction of rotation of the blast wheel is correct.
• Increased wear on the blast wheel, impeller and
control cage.
• The dimension of the abrasive material. The
blast pattern must be adjusted when you change
dimension.
• The position of the lateral window in the control
cage.
• Different types and hardness of the surface.
