Calculation of the displayed value
display value = number of poles x interpolation steps per pole
Example
Spindle pitch:

After 10 revolutions (i. e. 40 mm in the travel direction) the value 40.0
shall be indicated on the display. The measuring systems senses 10 x 20
poles (= 200 poles) over this distance.
Interpolation steps per pole =
This corresponds to a resolution of 2.5 mm.
