7 Transportation, storage and disposal

7.1 Transportation
The supplied Li-ion batteries obey the Dangerous Goods
Legislation requirements.
• Obey all applicable national regulations.
• Obey the special requirement on package and
labels for commercial transportations, including by
third parties and forwarding agents.
• For how to remove the battery, refer
to the complete Operator's manual on
www.husqvarna.com.
7.1.1 How to lift and move the product
To safely move from or within the work area:
1. Push the STOP button to stop the product. If
security is set to the medium or high level the
PIN code has to be entered. The PIN code
contains four digits and is selected when you start
the product for the first time. Refer to complete
Operator's manual.
2. Switch off the product with the ON/OFF button.
3. Carry the product by the handle under the product
with the blade disc away from the body.

7.2 Winter storage of the product
CAUTION:
Charge the battery fully
before you put the product into storage. If
the battery is not fully charged it can cause
damage to the battery.
• Clean the product before you put it into storage.

• Put the product in the charging station with the
hatch open to charge the battery. The battery
symbol in the display flashes when the product
charges. The battery is fully charged when the
battery symbol does not flash. Set the product to
OFF when the battery is fully charged.
• Make sure that the blades and bearings are not
damaged or worn before you put the product into
storage.
• Put the product into storage with the wheels on the
ground in a dry and frost-free area.
• Husqvarna recommends to put the product in the
package of the product when you put the product
into storage. You can also hang the product on a
Husqvarna wall hanger. Speak to your Husqvarna
representative for more information about available
wall hangers.
7.3 Winter storage of the charging
station
Put the charging station and power supply into storage
indoors. The boundary wire and the guide wire can be
left in the ground.
1. Disconnect the power supply of the charging
station from the power outlet.
2. Release the connector lock and pull the connector
out.
3. Disconnect the boundary wire and guide wire
connections from the charging station.
4. Put the ends of guide wire and the boundary wire
in a container with grease.
Note:
If you keep the charging station outdoors, do
not disconnect the power supply, boundary wire and
guide wires from the charging station.
