Einbaulage
Die Einbaulage ist beliebig.
Es muss gewährleistet sein, dass Ventilgehäuse und
Rohrleitungssystem sicher leerlaufen können.
Ventil mit lösbaren
Rohranschlußelementen
GEFAHR
Bei unter Druck stehenden Rohrleitungen und Ventilen
besteht bei Demontage Verletzungsgefahr. Wenn die
Rohrleitungen Flüssigkeiten enthalten, können diese
beim Öffnen der Rohrleitungen herausspritzen und
Menschen verletzen.
Deshalb vor dem Lösen von Rohranschlussverbindun-
gen:
– Rohrleitung entspannen, entleeren und, wenn nötig,
reinigen oder spülen.
– Rohrabschnitt für das zu montierende Ventil vom
übrigen Leitungssystem abtrennen, um den Wieder-
eintritt von Produkt zu verhindern.
Ventile mit lösbaren Rohranschlusselementen können –
unter Berücksichtigung passender Anschlussarmaturen
– direkt in das Rohrleitungssystem eingebaut werden.
Ventil mit Schweißstutzen
Für Schweißarbeiten müssen sämtliche Einbauteile aus
dem Ventilgehäuse entfernt werden.
• Ventileinsatz ausbauen (s. Kapitel „Demontage –
Montage des Ventils").
• Gehäuse (ohne Faltenbalg/Dichtringe) in das Rohrlei-
tungssystem einschweißen, dazu:
• Gehäuse einpassen und heften.
• Gehäuse vor dem Schweißen immer verschließen.
• Gehäuse von innen mit Formiergas umspülen, um den
Sauerstoff aus dem System zu verdrängen.
• Geeignetes Schweißverfahren anwenden. Tuchenha-
gen empfiehlt WIG-Schweißverfahren mit Pulsen.
• Das Gehäuse, wenn notwendig mit Schweißzusatz, in
das Rohrleitungssystem einschweißen.
• Nach dem Schweißen Naht passivieren.
• Defekte Teile wechseln.
• Ventilblock montieren.

Installation position
The standard installation position of the valve is at the
user´s discrection. Care must be taken that the valve
housing and the pipe system can drain properly.
Valve with detachable
housing connections
DANGER
Dismounting pipes or valves which are under pressure,
there is a danger of injury. If liquids are contained in the
pipe system, they can gush out when the line is opened
and cause injury to people.
Therefore, prior to detaching pipe connection fittings:
– depressurize and drain the pipes, and if necessary,
clean or rinse them
– disconnect the pipe segment for the valve to be moun-
ted from the rest of the pipe system in order to secure
the pipe against incoming product.
Valves with detachable housing connections can be
installed directly into the pipe system, using suitable
connection fittings.
Valve with welded sockets
For welding operations, all internals must be removed
from the valve housing.
• Dismantle the valve insert (follow the instructions
under „Dismantling / Mounting the valve").
• Weld the housing (without bellows / seal rings) into
the pipe system and for this purpose:
• Fit in the housing and tack it.
• Prior to welding, always seal the housing.
• Purge the housing inside with forming gas to remove
oxygen from the system.
• Use a suitable welding method.
Tuchenhagen recommends the TIG welding method
with pulsating current.
• Weld the housing into the pipe system, if necessary
using a welding filler.
• After welding, passivate the seam.
• Replace defective parts.
• Mount the valve bloc.
