For maintenance purposes check that the
07KD can be isolated from the water circuit
and refer to the cooling tower technical data
for water quality, availability, regenerating
drain, space around the unit for proper
operation etc. In this application, the
pressure control valve has no function and
must therefore be rendered inoperative.

Electrical connections

WARNING:
To prevent electrical shock or
equipment damage, make sure
disconnets are open before electrical
connections are made. If this action is
not taken, personal injury may occur.
Field wiring must comply with valid codes.
Take special care when making the earth
connection.
Voltage to unit must be within 10% of
voltage and 10% of current as indicated on
nameplate. Contact your local power
company for correction of an incorrect line
voltage.
Check the voltage before selecting supply
wiring fuses and controls.
WARNING:
Operation of the unit on improper line
voltage constitutes abuse and is not
covered by the Carrier warranty.
Unit with single-phase power supply
230V/1ph/50Hz:
before connection check that the supply
voltage through L and N is within the limits
of 198 to 264 Volts.
Three-phase unit 400V/3ph/50Hz:
check that the supply voltage through the 3
phases L and neutral N is within the limits.
Before connection check that the supply
voltage through the three lines and neutral
is within the limits of 350 to 460 Volts.
IMPORTANT:
• Make the main electrical connection
for the assembly via the outdoor unit.
Consult the wiring diagram sent with
the unit.
• To ensure the correct unit power
supply (cable entry, conductor cross
section, protection devices, etc.),
consult the Electrical Data Table, the
wiring diagram supplied with the unit
and the applicable standards
concerning the installation of air
conditioning equipment.

Collegamenti idraulici
del condensatore
Per la manutenzione controllare che l'unità
07KD possa essere isolata dal circuito
idraulico. Fare riferimento ai dati tecnici
della torre di raffreddamento per: qualità
dell'acqua, disponibilità, spazi per la
manutenzione, etc...
Nell'applicazione con torre, la valvola di
controllo pressione non ha alcuna funzione,
per cui può essere resa inoperativa.

Collegamenti elettrici

ATTENZIONE:
Per evitare eventuali scosse elettriche o
danni all'unità, assicurarsi che i contatti
elettrici siano aperti prima di effettuare i
collegamenti.
L'alimentazione elettrica deve corrisponde-
re ai dati contenuti sulla targhetta.
Fare particolare attenzione quando si
effettua la messa a terra.
La tensione fornita all'unità deve restare
entro il 10% della tensione e il 10% della
corrente come indicato sulla targhetta.
Contattare la compagnia elettrica per
correzioni a linee di tensione non adeguate.
Controllare la tensione prima di scegliere i
fusibili.
ATTENZIONE:
L'avviamento dell'unità con una tensio-
ne errata fa decadere la garanzia Carrier.
Alimentazione elettrica di unità monofasi
230V/1f/50Hz:
prima di eseguire i collegamenti elettrici
verificare che la tensione tra la fase e il
neutro sia entro i limiti di 198 e 264V.
Alimentazione elettrica di unità trifasi
400V/3f/50Hz:
verificare che la tensione tra le tre fasi e il
neutro sia entro i limiti di 350 e 460V.
IMPORTANTE:
• Eseguire la connessione elettrica
principale attraverso l'unità esterna.
Consultare lo schema elettrico allegato
all'unità
• Per effettuare i collegamenti elettrici
dell'unità (entrata dei cavi, sezione dei
conduttori, protezioni...), consultare la
tabella dei dati elettrici, il diagramma
elettrico allegato all'unità e le norme in
vigore per l'installazione di apparecchi
per la climatizzazione.
