8 Maintenance
8.1

Inspection

Instrument inspections must be carried out by competent
persons, e. g. Dräger or persons authorised by Dräger.
8.2

Maintenance intervals

Recommended: 6 months
Maximum: 12 months
8.2.1

Inserting paper roll

When a measurement is started, the Alcotest 9510 Standard
checks whether sufficient paper is in the printer. Insufficient
paper remaining is indicated by the message NO PRINTER
PAPER.
When the red strip appears on the print-out, a new paper roll
has to be inserted.
1. In order to be able to open the printer flap, press the black
unlocking button and open the flap.
2. Insert new paper roll.
3. To achieve a long storage capability of the printed
measuring reports, it is highly recommended to use the
thermal paper offered by Dräger (see Section 13 on Page
27).

8.2.2

Replacing fuses

1. Disconnect the instrument from the power supply.
2. Press the fuse holder lock together and pull out the fuse
holder.
3. Replace the old fuses with new ones.
4. Only use the specified fuses (see Section 13 on Page 27).
5. Re-insert the fuse holder.
8.3

Cleaning the instrument

1. Disconnect the instrument from the power supply.
2. Wipe the surfaces of the instrument and the hose clean
using a damp cloth.
3. Dry thoroughly with a dry cloth.
Do not use any cleaning agents containing alcohol!

Do not allow any liquid to ingress into the hose!


Avoid excessive mechanical strain, shocks, and vibrations

when transporting the instrument.

Storage

Store the instrument in dry rooms. Ambient conditions for

storage, see Section 12 on Page 27.

This product must not be disposed of as municipal
waste. This is indicated by the adjacent icon.
You can return this product to Dräger free of charge.
