Reassembling the training device
• Ensure that the hose ring and the starter line are attached to the
training heat exchanger.
• Mounting the Training Heat Exchanger:
Position the training heat exchanger so that the gum seal of the
mouthpiece is pointing at the breathing bag.
Push the breathing hose onto the hose connection of the training
heat exchanger.
Push the O-ring from the breathing hose onto the heat exchanger.
• Adjust the chest harness and neck strap.
• Fold the chest harness and fix it with a rubber band.
• Dräger Oxy 6000 T/HT:
Attach goggles to the button loop.
• Insert mouthpiece cap into the mouthpiece.
• Thread starter pin through
the ring on the breathing
hose and insert it into the
starter.
• Dräger Oxy 3000 T/HT:
Place goggles on breathing
bag.
• Fold breathing bag onto the
functional part.
• Hold the folded breathing
bag and insert the functional
part into the bottom cover of
the housing so that the con-
nection for the breathing
hose is pointing up vertically
and the breathing bag is
pointing away from the
body.
• Place the breathing hose on
the functional part.
• Rotate the functional part in
the bottom cover of the hou-
sing by 90° so that the
mouthpiece is on top.
• Place the neck strap on top
of the functional part and
insert it into the bottom
cover of the housing. The
loop must be on top of the
functional part.

• Place the upper part of the
housing on the bottom part.
Push protruding parts under
the upper part of the hou-
sing.
• Hook the short tightening
straps into the opener and
close the opener.
The opener will click until it
is engaged.
• Hold the lower tightening
strap on the D-ring, pull it
upwards slightly and hook it
into the upper tightening
strap. Repeat this on the
other side of the training
device.
• Insert training seal.

Maintenance

Replacing the breathing bag
• Unscrew the clip and remove the breathing bag from the functio-
nal part.
• Replace the straps if necessary.
• Ensure that the new breathing bag is dry on the inside and out-
side.
• Point the breathing bag so that the button loops are positioned in
the recesses of the KO cartridge.

• Place the breathing bag on the functional part and tighten the
screws of the clip.
Replacing the heat exchanger set
• Push the O-ring from the
heat exchanger onto the
breathing hose.
• Remove the old heat
exchanger.
• Push the breathing hose
onto the new heat
exchanger and push the O-
ring onto the heat
exchanger.
