• Use only socket attachments (13) with the size in-
dicated in figure 2.
• Make absolutely sure that the socket spanner at-
tachments (13) used are undamaged. Damaged or
ill-fitting (unsuitable) socket attachments (13) must
not be used under any circumstances.
Make connections
Note: Use only connection hoses with an inner diam-
eter of at least 9 mm.
• First wrap some Teflon tape (not included in the
scope of delivery) around the outer threads of the
plug nipple (9) and the lubricator (11) (see figure 3).
• Now screw the plug nipple (9) into the thread of the
lubricator (11) (see figure 4).
• Be sure to tighten this connection with moderate
force using an open-end spanner.
• Now screw the combination of lubricator (11) and
plug nipple (9) into the compressed air connection
(2) of the impact screwdriver (see fig. 4).
• Also tighten this connection with the help of an
open-end spanner.
• Now press the compressed air hose onto the plug
nipple (9) with a little force until the hose engages.
• ATTENTION! Make absolutely sure that the com-
pressed air hose is firmly seated. A loosened and
uncontrolled flapping hose poses a great danger.
Also make sure that the two screw connections be-
tween the lubricator (11), the coupling piece and the
device are firmly seated.
Adjusting the compressed air
Note: The device is designed for an operating pres-
sure of up to 6.3 bar and a compressor with an air
volume of at least the value specified in the technical
data. When setting the air pressure, please bear in
mind that the pressure drops by approx. 0.6 bar for a
hose length of 10 m and an inner diameter of 9 mm.
• Use only filtered, lubricated and regulated com-
pressed air.
Adjusting the torque
• Select the appropriate torque range on the torque
control knob (3) by pushing it towards the housing
and turning it until it engages in the desired position.
• Make sure that the working pressure of the com-
pressor is between 5 and 6.3 bar.
Note: The optimum pressure is 6.3 bar. If the pressure
is only 5 bar or if the air flow is insufficient, the maxi-
mum torque cannot be achieved.

Start up
• Press the trigger (4) to operate the device.
• Release the trigger (4) to switch off the device.
Changing the direction of rotation
• ATTENTION! The device must come to a complete
standstill before you change the direction of rota-
tion.
• ATTENTION! A machine turning in the opposite di-
rection to the expected direction can be dangerous.
Pay attention to what you are doing and always be
careful. Note: The impact screwdriver is designed
for right-hand/left-hand rotation. You can change
the direction of rotation of the impact screwdriver
with the direction selector pin (6).
• Pull the direction selector pin forward in the direc-
tion of the marking "F" ("Forward / Fasten") to set
the clockwise mode. Now you can tighten screws,
for example.
• Push the direction selector pin backwards in the
direction of the marking "R" ("Reverse / Release")
so that it sticks out on the back of the device to set
the counter-clockwise mode. Now you can loosen
screws, for example.
Hold the device correctly
• Hold the device with both hands to ensure safe op-
eration.
After commissioning
When the work is done, the device must be discon-
nected from the compressed air connection (2).
• Switch the compressor off.
• To remove any residual compressed air, briefly pull
the drive trigger (4).
• Now pull the safety catch of the connection coupling
on your compressed air hose backwards.
• Now detach the hose from the plug nipple (9).
WARNING! Be careful when putting the device
down. Always set the device down such that it does
not rest on the trigger. Under certain circumstanc-
es, this could result in accidental activation of the
device, which in turn could lead to danger.
