1.1 Important Information
Before using this instrument, carefully read and observe all notes contained in
these operating instructions.
Fundamentally, skilled personnel only should use the Wöhler DC 100
the purpose that it is intended and within the specified data range. No liability
is accepted under any circumstances or guarantee given for results deter-
mined in conjunction with this instrument nor for any damage that may arise
when using this instrument.
1.2 Applications

extreme precision of this device not only registers minimum pressures in the
0.01 Pa range for flow rate and gas pressure measurements, but also deter-
mines volumes for measuring draughts with the simultaneous registration of
exhaust gas temperatures. A maximum measuring range of 100 hPa and a
rupture pressure of 0.75 bar also provide for adequate safety at higher pres-
sure ranges. During all measurements the user is guided by plaintext instruc-
tions on the display. The new high-precision pressure measurements of 0.01
Pa now also allows measurements of flow speeds in the 0.1 m/s range.
Thanks to its high measuring accuracy, the Wöhler DC100
following measurement tasks:
1. Detection and inspection of low pressures in a closed air loop with simulta-
neous operation of a combustion installation and an exhaust-gas system.
The optionally available Woehler 4 Pa Set contains specific flexible capilla-
ry tubes for this purpose (see chapter 3.1).
2. A highly sensitive S-type Prandtl tube connected to the DC 100
to evaluate the ventilation loss of boilers during the evaluation of the ener-
gy efficiency according to article 8 of the European Building Performance
Directive (EBPD; see chapter 4).
3. The DC 100
