1.1 Important information

Carefully study and observe all items of these operating instruc-
tions before commissioning the unit.

In principle, the Wöhler TA 22 should only be used by skilled
personnel for its intended purpose and within the specified range
of data. Any liability or warranty for results established or for de-
fects caused when using the unit is excluded by all means.

Take care that the position of the probe is perpendicular to the air
flow while measuring (see fig. 2.2). Even small deviations of the
position of the probe can provoke inexact results of the measure-
ment.
1.2 Specification
The Wöhler TA 22 Thermo Anemometeris an easy-to-use handheld instru-
ment for the measuring of the air-flow-velocity and the air temperature, which
is suitable for measurings in ventilation instalations, rooms etc.. During the
measuring both values (velocity and temperature) will be displayed at the
same time.
The measuring at fresh air openings and outgoing air openings is effectuated
with cones. After having elected the corresponding cone in the menu, the
volume stream will directly be shown, so that it is not necessary to convert
the values.
The instrument offers the possibility to display the average value or the mini-
mal and the maximal values and it is equipped with a HOLD-function. Regar-
ding the measuring results the user can select between different units.
