Cooking zones and sensors
Increasing or reducing the
heat setting of a cooking
zone
Even if the cooking process has already be-
gun, you can increase or decrease the heat
setting of a cooking zone.
1. Press the sensor for the required cooking
zone.
The indicator beside the cooking zone will
blink.
2. Press the "+" sensor (10) (multiple times
in a row if necessary) or press and hold it
down with your finger longer to increase
the heat setting of the cooking zone.
3. Press the "-" sensor (11) (multiple times
in a row if necessary) or press and hold
it down with your finger longer to reduce
the heat setting of the cooking zone.
After a few seconds, the indicator for the
selected cooking zone will be normally lit
and the new heat setting will have been
selected.
When the " " indicator and not the
heat setting is flashing on the display,
this may have several causes, for example:
– The cookware is not placed on the correct
cooking zone.
– The cookware being used is not suitable
for induction hobs.
– The cookware is too small or is not centerd
on the cooking zone.
As long as there is no suitable cookware
on the cooking zone that is switched on, no
heating will occur.
