Function switch

– Use the function switch (1) to select the
heating method/function:
Light
Top and bottom heat*)
Bottom heat
Eco**)
Top heat
Grill
Intensive grill
Off
*) This type of heating is used to determine
the level of energy consumption in con-
ventional mode.
**) This type of heating is used to determine
the level of energy consumption in con-
vection mode and to determine the ener-
gy efficiency class.
Detailed information and tips on the heating
methods can be found in the enclosed bro-
chure „Baking, roasting and cooking".

Temperature controller

CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
Elements, sides, baking trays, etc. get
very hot during operation.
■ Accessible parts may become hot
during use. Keep small children away.
■ Avoid direct contact.
■ Only touch the oven door by the handle.
■ Hot steam can fl ow from the extrac-
tion hood when the oven is in use.
Take care when opening the oven
door.
CAUTION!
Fire hazard!
■ Never leave the oven unattended
while grilling!
■ Fatty foods can catch fi re.
■ Do not cover cakes or roasts with bak-
ing paper during cooking.
■ Do not allow food, baking parchment
and aluminium foil to come into con-
tact with the heating elements.
■ Do not store temperature-sensitive,
combustible or fl ammable objects in
the oven.
■ Do not leave the oven unattended
while cooking food in oil and grease
or with alcohol. The food may ignite.

■ Do not force the temperature control-
ler past the fi nal position.
