Changing the administrator password

Only people who know the administrator password are enabled to change the Hard-
Boot configuration and the group allocation.
The administrator password has been determined during creating the location con-
figuration. It can be changed by an administrator at any time.
How to change the administrator password:
1. Click on Change administrator password (Verwalter-Passwort ändern) in the Settings
(Einstellungen) menu.
2. Enter the administrator password and confirm the entry by clicking the OK button.
The administrator password only needs to be entered if no administrating func-
tion has been called up in the current session.
3. Enter the new administrator password and repeat it in the row below. Click the OK
button.
4. The change of the password is confirmed by HardBoot view. Click the OK button.

Changing the user password

When starting the software HardBoot view, the user password is required.
The user password has been determined during creating of the location configura-
tion. It can be changed at any time.
How to change the user password:
1. Click on Change user password (Benutzer-Passwort ändern) in the Settings (Einstellungen)
menu.
2. Enter the new user password and repeat it in the row below. Click the OK button.
3. The change of the password is confirmed by HardBoot view. Click the OK button.
