Allocating groups
With the software HardBoot view, you can allocate various power outlets to power
outlet groups. Each group can consist of a maximum of three power outlets that can
be switched simultaneously. It is, for example, possible to reliably disconnect the power
supply of a computer with redundant power supply.
How to allocate single power outlets to a power outlet group:
1. Click on the entry Group allocation (Gruppenzuordnung) in the Settings (Einstellungen)
menu.
2. Enter the administrator password and confirm the entry be pressing the OK button.
The administrator password only needs to be entered if no administrating func-
tion has been called up in the current session.
3. An overview of the already configured power outlet groups appears:

4. Click the Add (Hinzufügen) button to configure a new power outlet group.
5. Enter the desired name of the power outlet group in the field Name.
6. The area Allocated power outlets (Zugeordnete Steckdosen) provides three drop-down
list to select one power outlet at a time. Click on the arrow on the right sight of
the drop-down list to see a list of all power outlets of the HardBoot system that
have not been grouped yet:

7. Select a maximum of three different power outlets that are to be added to the
group and click the OK button.
