Adding a HardBoot system to the location configuration
Each location can consist of any number of HardBoot systems that can be adminis-
trated comfortably through the software. Before the HardBoot system can be admin-
istrated with the software, several system settings have to be stored in the software
HardBoot view.
How to establish a HardBoot system within the location configuration:
1. Click on HardBoot configuration (HardBoot-Konfiguration) in the Settings
(Einstellungen) menu.
2. Enter the administrator password and confirm the entry by clicking on the OK
button.
The administrator password only needs to be entered if no administrating func-
tion has been called up in the current session.
3. Click on the Add (Hinzufügen) button. Now, the dialogue window Settings
HardBoot (Einstellungen HardBoot) appears:

4. The following data have to be recorded in the General (Allgemein) field of the dia-
logue window:
a. Name: Enter the desired name of the HardBoot system. This name is displayed
in the graphical interface of the software.
b. IP address (IP-Adresse): Enter the IP address of the HardBoot system. If a perma-
nent IP address has been assigned to the HardBoot plus, you can read it out in
the configuration menu (see "Network configuration" on page 8 ff).
c. Username: Enter the user name of the administrator's account of the HardBoot
system (default setting: admin).
d. Password (Passwort): Enter the password of the administrator's account of the
HardBoot system (default setting: admin).
