conditioner to act on the entire volume of petrol and to
wait 15-30 minutes before starting the engine.
  The max. petrol level is set by the plastic scale inserted
in the fuel filtration strainer that is inserted in the fuel
tank opening.
  Do not overfill the tank. This will result in fuel spilling
out when handling the pressure washer even through
the closed cap.
  Never pour petrol into the pressure washer while it is
running and allow the pressure washer to cool down
before pouring it in.
CONTENT OF OXYGENOUS COMPOUNDS
IN THE FUEL
y The content of oxygenous compounds in lead-free car pet-
rol must meet the current requirements of norm EN 228.
Under no condition prepare the fuel blend yourself but
instead procure it only at a fuel station. Do not modify
the composition of the purchased fuel (excluding the
use of a fuel conditioner). Use only good quality lead-
-free car petrol.
SHAMPOO FOR THE TANK
y To achieve higher cleaning efficiency, it is possible to
pour undiluted low-lather shampoo, that is intended
for hight pressure water washers, into the tank (fig. 1,
position 10) through the filling opening. Do not use
other types of cleaning agents. The pressure washer has
an automatic dilution with water function in the ratio of
20:1, thus undiluted shampoo is used in the tank.
CONNECTING THE WATER SUPPLY HOSE
ATTENTION
y Before connecting the hose to the flange of the
pressure washer, first check whether the gasket
seal with strainer is inserted in the flange (it is the
same gasket seal used for ¾" cap nuts used on water
faucet taps, etc.). The pressure washer must not be
operated without the filtration strainer inserted at
the water inlet into the pressure washer.
y The temperature of the water supplied to the pressure
washer must be in the range of ≥ 2°C (without ice) to 50 °C.
y Prior to connecting the hose to the pressure washer,
prime it completely so that air is pushed out of it and so
the pressure washer does not run without water. Running
the pump without water would damage the pump.
y On to the thread of the ¾" × 20 mm brass hose adapter,
wind Teflon tape or Teflon thread intended for plum-
bing (do not use plumbing hemp), and using plumbing
tools, screw the flange of the pressure washer (fig. 7A)
on to the thread of the hose adapter.
Slide a hose, with the hose clamp or band or several of
these clamps slid on, on to the barb of the hose adapter
and then tighten the clamping band using a screwdri-
ver (fig. 7B). Ensure that the connected hose is properly
secured on the barb so that the increased water pres-
sure does not cause the hose to slip off the barb of the
hose adapter.
EN
ATTENTION
y The whole coupling array: the cap nut - screwed
on hose adapter - hose slid on to the hose adapter,
must be perfectly water-tight to prevent air from
being drawn in. This could result in damage to the
pump and the water current from the spray gun
would be intermittent in nature.
ATTENTION
y Ensure sufficient supply water flow rate, otherwise
this could lead to damage of the pump. The minimum
required volumetric flow rate is specified in chapter
II. (technical specifications). An insufficient water sup-
ply will manifest itself via fluctuating pressure on the
outflow from the nozzle (decline in power of the spray
gun acting on the user while spraying) and an audible
change in engine speed.
ATTACHING/REPLACING THE NOZZLE
y After inserting the selected nozzle (fig. 1, position 17),
first pull down the quick coupler at the end of the
metal part of the spray gun (step 1., fig. 8) and with the
coupler pulled down, slide the nozzle into the coupler
(step 2, fig. 8) and finally release the coupler (when the
nozzle is properly secured, the coupler must be pulled
fully up). After releasing the quick coupler, pull on the
nozzle to check that the nozzle is properly secured
in the coupler, to prevent it from shooting out under
the effect of pressurised water. To remove the nozzle,
pull down the coupler and take the nozzle out of the
coupler.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICATION
OF SHAMPOO (SHAMPOO NOZZLE)
y Application of shampoo is only possible with a low-pres-
sure (shampoo) nozzle SOAP, and it is will not function
with the use of a different nozzle (shampoo will not be
drawn in). The procedure for shampooing is such, that
the shampoo is first applied using the shampoo nozzle,
allowed to act and then the surface is rinsed off with
clean water using a high-pressure nozzle.
CONNECTING A PRESSURE HOSE TO THE
PRESSURE WASHER
AND TO THE SPRAY GUN
y Connect the pressure hose to the coupler of the spray
gun and the coupler of the pressure washer as shown
in fig. 1 in the same way as the nozzle into the coupler
of the metal part of the spray gun. Prior to starting the
pressure washer, check with your hand that the pressure
hose if firmly connected to the spray gun and to the
pressure washer, otherwise there is a risk of ejection
and a risk of injury to the user by the unsecured parts
through the effect of the pressure impact of water.
