Display modes of the cooking zones
• Cooking zones are in operation: When the cooking zone is in operation, the
corresponding indicator light lights up continuously.
• Hot cooking zone warning: The corresponding indicator light flashes when the
cooking zone is off but there is still a high residual temperature.
• Cooking zones in standby mode: The indicator lights of the cooking zones switch
on and off alternately.
Control of the cooking zones
Touch the POWER button and use the control knob to set the power level of the desired
cooking zone.

OPERATION 2-ZONE HOB

Before first use
Note: Clean the surface of the hob before using it for the first time (see section
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE).
• Switch on each hotplate in turn for 5 minutes at the maximum setting. This eliminates
odours and moisture that have formed in the heating elements during transport.
• Do not switch on more than one hotplate at a time at this stage.
• Before switching on the respective hotplate, place a pot half-filled with cold water
on the hotplate.
Switch on
• After switching on the appliance, all indicator lights of the cooking zones light up
for 2 seconds, then the appliance goes into switch-off status.
• Switch-off status: All indicator lights go out except for the indicator light of the
previously heated cooking zone, which is always lit. At this point, only the POWER
button can be operated by pressing it for a long time, the controllers are no longer
functional.
