SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Special Notes
• Do not use the appliance until you have read the entire instruction manual. This
appliance is designed for household use only.
• The device becomes very hot during use. Make sure that you do not come into
contact with the hot appliance surfaces during operation. Touching the appliance
while it is in operation may cause burns.
• Keep small children away from the device.
• Make sure that small household items, including connection cables, do not come
into contact with the surface of the appliance as these materials are usually not heat
resistant.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when frying food. Oils and fats can catch
fire or boil over due to overheating.
• Do not switch on the appliance until a pot has been placed on the hob.
• Do not place pots or pans weighing more than 25 kg on the appliance.
• Do not use the unit if it has any technical faults. Technical faults must be rectified by
the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified person.
• If a technical fault occurs, immediately disconnect the mains plug from the socket
and contact customer service. Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair
the device yourself.
• Follow the instructions given in the user manual. Make sure that all persons using the
appliance are familiar with the operating instructions.
• Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner.
• The furniture, enclosures and all materials used in the installation surrounding
the appliance must be resistant to temperatures of at least 95 °C above room
temperature and higher.
• The manufacturer of the appliance cannot be held liable for any damage caused
by incorrect installation in terms of failure to observe the heat resistance of the
materials surrounding the appliance or by placing cabinets, enclosures or similar at
a distance of less than 4 mm from the appliance.
• This appliance complies with all European safety regulations. Note that the
appliance surfaces still become hot during use and that the heat remains for some
time after operation.
Child Safety
• It is recommended that babies and small children do not stay near the appliance
and do not touch it at any time.
• Make sure that small children who are in the kitchen when the appliance is in
operation are supervised.
