Switch on
• After switching on the appliance, all indicator lights of the cooking zones light up
for 2 seconds, then the appliance goes into switch-off status.
• Switch-off status: All indicator lights go out except for the indicator light of the
previously heated cooking zone, which is always lit. At this point, only the POWER
button can be operated by pressing it for a long time, the controllers are no longer
functional.
Standby mode
• When the appliance is switched off and the POWER button is pressed for 3
seconds, all the cooking zone indicator lights turn on and off and the appliance
goes into standby mode.
• In standby mode, the appliance switches off automatically after 10 seconds if no
cooking zone is being heated.
Control of the heating power
• In standby mode, you can adjust the power level of the cooking zone by turning the
control knob. Turn the control clockwise to increase the power level from level 0-15.
Turn the control anticlockwise to decrease the power from level 15-0. The lowest
level to which the power can be reduced is level 1. To switch off the cooking zone,
turn the control knob to level 0.
• When the cooking zone is in heating mode, press and hold the POWER button for
3 seconds to switch off the appliance and stop the heating of all cooking zones. The
indicator light for the previously heated cooking zone flashes to indicate that the
residual temperature in the relevant cooking zone is high.
• In standby mode, the indicator light for the relevant cooking zone flashes if the
cooking zone still has a high residual temperature.
• If you want to switch off one of the cooking zones, set the control knob of the
cooking zone to level 0. This does not affect the heating of the other cooking zones.
When the power level of a cooking zone is set to level 0, the indicator light of the
corresponding cooking zone goes out.
• If more than one zone is in operation at the same time, the total power is equal to
the sum of all active cooking zones. Each cooking zone operates in its own power
mode, the cooking zones do not influence each other.
• If all cooking zones have been set to level 0, the appliance switches off
automatically after 1 minute.
