4�1�3 Analog Connection of the

The InSUS H60i is equipped with two different interfaces:
1. Digital communication to a METTLER TOLEDO transmitter
or a Modbus RTU system.
2. Analog output (nA or 4 – 20 mA) plus a simulated NTC
22 kΩ temperature signal. The mA version includes HART
communication.

Attention: Never connect an InSUS H60i with mA output to
an nA input. This could damage the electronics of the sensor
head and / or instrument the sensor head is connected to.

4�1�4 Power Connection of
If the sensor head is used with a 4-wire transmitter
(M400 / M800), the sensor head is powered by the trans-
mitter. In this case, no additional power supply is needed.
For installation with 2-wire and BUS transmitters
(M400 / 2(X)H; M400 FF; M400 PA) and for direct integra-
tion with a nA, mA and Modbus transmitter an additional
power supply is required.
