The detection of the DCF signal and its evaluation can last a few minutes. If a
good reception position was found, do not move the weather station during
that time. Do not press any buttons on the weather station.
Do not place the weather station next to electric/electronic devices; do not place
it near cables, plugs or metallic parts.
A bad reception can also be caused by, e.g. metalised insulated glass,
reinforced concrete construction design, coated special wallpaper or an
installation in cellars.

After proper recognition of the DCF signal and evaluation, the correct time is
displayed at the lower right of the display.

The two bases (16) on the back of the weather station can be extended and used
to set it up in a level, stable position. Alternatively to the extensible bases, the
included standing base can be used.
If desired, the weather station can also be mounted on the wall with two holes in
the back (17).
For placing/installation, select a place that is not exposed to direct sunlight
(wrong measured values for temperature/humidity). Also maintain sufficient
distance to radiators.
Protect expensive furniture surfaces with suitable pads. Otherwise, they may
be scratched.
Also observe the chapter "17. Transmission Range" for setting up the outdoor
sensor and weather station.
