Check before Operation

Follow the check list below, before use. If any abnormalities are found, stop using the product immediately and contact your dealer.
4-1 Control Unit
1) Check for any abnormalities or damage on the outer surface.
2) Check that the Power Cord can be securely connected to the Control Unit and the medical-use outlet.
3) Turn the power ON and check for any abnormalities on the LCD display.
4) Touch the LCD display to check each setup can be customized.
5) Check that the Irrigation Pole can be securely inserted into the Pole Stand of the Control Unit.
6) Adjust the Irrigation Volume. Open the Pump Cover and check that the Roller operates normally.
7) Check that the Irrigation Tube can be securely mounted to the Irrigation Pump.

4-2 Foot Control

1) Check for any abnormalities or damage on the outer surface and for any damage or deformation on the Pins in the Foot Control Plug.
2) Connect the Foot Control to the Control Unit to check its secure connection.
3) Depress the Pedal and Buttons of the Foot Control to check that they operate normally.
4-3 Motor
1) Check for any abnormalities or damage on the outer surface and for any damage or deformation on the Pins in the Motor Cord Plug.
2) Check that the Motor can be securely connected to the Control Unit.
3) Depress the Pedal of the Foot Control to check for any abnormal vibration, noise or heating in the Motor. Check in the Main Panel of the
Control Unit that the rotational speed can reach the maximum speed you have set.
4) Check that Forward, Reverse, and Oscillate (P200-WPD only) Modes operate normally.
5) Mount the Attachment to the Motor to check its secure connection.
* If any abnormalities are found, stop using the product immediately and contact your dealer.
* Operate the product if none of the above abnormalities are present.
* When checking Attachments before treatment, refer to the Operation Manual of each Attachment.

Operation

● The LCD Display of this product is a touch panel. Refrain from doing the following, which might result in failure or
CAUTION
malfunction of the touch panel.
- Operating the touch panel using a sharp object, such as a ballpoint pen.
- Operating the touch panel with wet hands.
● Do not push the touch panel with force, otherwise failure might occur.
● Refer to the Operation Manuals of the Motor and Attachment to be mounted.
5-1 How to turn on the power
Turn ON the Power Switch. The HOME screen is displayed after the startup screen appears and the Control Unit finishes an automatic self-
check of the system.
● Do not turn OFF the Power Switch when the startup screen appears, because the Control Unit is conducting an
CAUTION
automatic self-check of the system.
● If the Power Switch is turned ON while the Hand Switch/Trigger or Foot Control is depressed, the Motor does not start
for safety reasons, and a message alert is displayed in the Main Panel. In order to deactivate the message, release the
Hand Switch/Trigger or Foot Control.
