22.Equipment maintenance and care:
to ensure safe and correct handling, always
keep handles dry, clean and free of lubricants
and oil. Always keep discs sharp and clean.
Follow instructions when lubricating or
replacing parts. Always regularly inspect
mains connections and, if damaged, get them
replaced by an authorised electrician.
23.Storing equipment when not in use:
store in a dry, locked place, out of the reach
of children.
24.Leave plates indicating manufacturer and
model on.
25.Firmly secure and maintain covers and other
safety devices.
26.Make the work place child-proof by using
padlocks, master switches and by removing
ignition keys.
27.Never climb onto the machine.
You can be seriously injured if you climb onto
the machine and accidentally come into
contact with the saw.
28.Direction of movement:
push the workpiece into the disc or blade and
hence against the direction of rotation of the
disc or blade.
29.Never leave the machine running unattended.
Always switch off the machine and wait until it
has completely stopped before leaving it.
Cutting instructions
1. Only ever use the cutting edge (never the
side) of the disc for cutting. Avoid putting
sideways pressure on the disc, and in
particular, making it jam.
2. Keep hands and body away from the disc.
Whilst cutting with the machine, do not wear
loose clothes which could get caught in it.
3. Treat the disc cutting saw with care, never
drop it, always store it in a safe, dry place.
Avoid excessive temperatures and humidity.
4. Ensure that all disc flanges and other fitted
parts are in good condition and assembled
according to instructions. Damaged or missing
parts can lead to disc damage. Always use
the flanges delivered with the machine.
5. Never work with damaged discs, as these can
be dangerous. When changing the disc, first
switch off the machine. Rotate the disc by
hand and inspect it for unevenness, twists or
shearing. If you find any of these, get the disc
removed and replace it with a new one. Also
replace the disc if it falls to the floor.

It may have become fragile even if you cannot
see any ostensible damage.
6. Before you begin cutting, do a test run, i.e.
take a step back, switch on the motor and
ensure that the disc is functioning correctly.
After changing the disc, let the saw run for
three minutes; thereafter, before doing any
routine work, let it test-run for one minute.
7. Whilst the machine is running, never try to
remove a workpiece or to clamp a workpiece
in.
8. Before installing the disc, always inspect the
resin and rubber treated disc for shearing.
9. Always cross-check the maximum operating
speed of the disc cutting saw with the
maximum permitted speed of the motor.
Never exceed the maximum permitted
operating speed indicated on the disc.
10.Never try to mount a disc onto the machine by
force, or to change the size of the axles.
Never use discs which do not fit. Only use
discs which fit the machine.
11. Do not attempt to attach saw blades to the
machine, as it is not designed to cut wood.
Machine instructions
1. Do not start cutting until the motor has
attained full speed.
2. If, while operating the machine, the disc no
longer turns or the motor sounds overloaded,
switch off the machine immediately.
3. Keep easily flammable or fragile objects away
from the machine. The machine operator must
avoid letting his or her hands, face or feet
come into contact with the sparks caused
when cutting.
4. Position your machine firmly on a flat, even
surface.
5. Only operate the machine at the voltage
stated on the nameplate.
6. Never touch a sawn-off workpiece, always let
it cool down first.
7. Never attempt to cut workpieces which
exceed the permitted size.
8. During cutting, never position yourself in the
direction of cutting. Always remain to one
side.
9. Always leave safety devices installed.
10.Always ensure that you cut slowly and
carefully. Avoid applying the disc to the
workpiece with a jerky motion.
11. Never push the workpiece onto the disc with
your bare hands. Always use a chuck block
and a guard to fix the workpiece.

Løsn vingemøtrikken på justeringsbolten
(sidder foran i hoved-drejemekanismen).
•
Skru på bolten, så den stopper hovedet i den
ønskede dybde og lås med vingemøtrikken.
•
Stram vingemøtrikken til med den
medfølgende nøgle.
Justering af klemme og anlægsflade
Brug altid klemmen og anlægsfladen for at holde
arbejdsemnet godt fast på maskinbordet.
Klemmefladerne kan lynjusteres.
Justering af klemmen:
Sørg for, at maskinen er slukket, og
stikket taget ud af stikkontakten.
•
Drej det lille greb, så gevindstangen løsnes
fra blokeringen.
•
Tryk eller træk stangen med klemme til den
ønskede position, så klemmens anlægsflade
rører arbejdsemnet.
•
Sæt det lille greb tilbage, så det griber ind i
gevindet på klemmestangen og stram
klemmen, så arbejdsemnet holdes godt fast.
Justering af anlægsfladens vinkel:
Sørg for, at maskinen er slukket, og
stikket taget ud af stikkontakten.
•
Med den medfølgende topnøgle løsnes de to
bolte der fastgør anlægsfladen til underlaget;
anlægsfladens vinkel kan justeres mellem 0
og 45 grader.
•
Stram boltene godt til efter justering.
Bemærk: De afmærkede vinkler er kun
vejledende; hvis der kræves præcisionsarbejde,
skæres et lille prøvestykke, hvorefter der måles
og justeres, indtil maskinen skærer i den rigtige
vinkel.
Justering af anlægsfladens position:
Sørg for, at maskinen er slukket, og
stikket taget ud af stikkontakten.
•
Løsn de to bolte med spændeskiver og flyt
anlægsfladen til den ønskede position.
•
Sæt bolte spænde- og låseskiver i igen.

•
Stram boltene godt til efter justering.
Sikker skæring
•
Denne maskine kan producere store
mængder støv, gnister og andet restmateriale.
•
Brug derfor de fornødne personlige
værnemidler som f.eks. sikkerhedsbriller,
støvmaske og handsker.
•
Der kan bruges støvudsugning, idet der er en
30 mm tilslutning forneden på højre side af
maskinen til tilkobling af en støvudsuger
(medfølger ikke).
•
Når maskinen bruges, må der ikke spises,
drikkes eller ryges, heller ikke i nærheden af
maskinen.
•
Hold fingrene fra skivestopperen; den må ikke
trykkes ind, mens maskinen kører.
•
Brug kanten af skiven, ikke siden; undgå at
der påføres tryk på siden af skiven.
•
Hold hænder og andre legemsdele væk fra
maskinen; stå på den ene side af skiven, når
der skæres.
•
Bær ikke løstsiddende tøj, der kan blive
fanget af skiven.
•
Lad maskinen stoppe helt og sluk, før et
arbejdsstykke fjernes og et nyt lægges i.
•
Arbejdsemner må ikke holdes med hænder
eller fødder; de skal klemmes fast.
•
Berør ikke et afskåret stykke, før det er afkølet.
•
Under brug skal skiven jævnligt checkes for
beskadigelser og slitage, og den skal
udskiftes om nødvendigt.
•
Sluk på maskinen, før stikket tages ud af
stikkontakten.
5. VEDLIGEHOLDELSE
Sluk for maskinen og tag stikket ud af
stikkontakten, før der udføres rengøring
eller vedligeholdelse.
Maskiner er blevet konstrueret, så de kan
arbejde i længere perioder med et minimum af
vedligeholdelse. Korrekt vedligeholdelse og
rengøring af maskinen er en forudsætning for
lang tids tilfredsstillende brug.
Rengøring
Ventilationsrillerne på maskinen skal holdes rene,
så man undgår overophedning af motoren.
Kappen omkring motoren skal rengøres med en
blød klud, helst hver gang maskinen har været
brugt.
