Replace the outer flange and bolt with its
washers, screw in finger tight.
•
Lock the shaft with the disc stopper pin and
tighten the bolt clockwise with the spanner, do
not over tighten.
•
Revolve the disc by hand to check the stopper
pin is disengaged.
•
Replace the cover (A) and secure with the
wing nut.
4. USING THE METAL CUT
OFF SAW
Before operating:
•
Check the voltage on the saw corresponds
with your power supply voltage and that the
plug and lead are in good condition.
•
Check maximum speed marked on the disc is
the same or less than the maximum speed of
the machine. The machine's speed must not
be greater than the speed marked on the disc.
•
You have the correct type of disc for the
machine and the material, and that it is
mounted correctly.
•
Do not use parts other than supplied with the
machine to make the disc fit properly.
•
Ensure the disc stopper pin is disengaged.
•
Inspect the disc for any damage. Do not use
cracked, ripped or otherwise damaged discs.
•
Check the guard ensure the guard is working
properly – do not use this saw without the
guard in place and working.
•
Run idle for 60 seconds. If there is any
abnormal vibration or other fault, switch off,
inspect and rectify before continuing.
Operation
Plug into a suitable mains supply and switch on.
Be aware that this machine has a
powerful motor and needs the
workpiece clamped to operate it safely.
To switch the saw on
Push in the yellow lock button on the top of the
handgrip.
Note: This is a safety switch and will only work
while the on/off trigger is held. To restart press
the lock button again.
To switch off
Release the on/off trigger switch.

Cutting instructions
•
Position the machine on a dry level surface,
make sure the rubber feet grip and it cannot
slip.
•
Let the disc come to full speed before cutting.
•
Push the spinning disc gently onto the work
piece, cut slowly and carefully, this is a
powerful machine and will kick if the disc is
pressed too hard or jammed in the cut.
•
Switch off immediately if the disc jams.
•
Do not cut workpieces larger than 125mm
deep X 205mm span.
•
Let the machine come to a complete stop and
switch off before removing or installing a
workpiece.
•
Regularly inspect the disc during use for signs
of damage or wear and replace when
required.
•
Switch the machine off before removing the
plug from the mains socket.
Adjusting the cutting depth
Ensure the saw is switched off and
unplugged.
•
The cutting depth can be adjusted to
compensate for disc wear during use.
•
Loosen the wingnut on the adjustment bolt
(located in front of the head pivot).
•
Turn the bolt so that it stops the head at the
required depth and lock with the wingnut.
•
Tighten the wingnut firmly clockwise with the
spanner supplied.
Adjusting the clamp and fence
Always use the clamp and fence to hold the
workpiece securely on the machine table.
The clamp has a quick adjusting feature to move
the clamping face.
To adjust the clamp:
Ensure the saw is switched off and
unplugged.
•
Turn the thread block, which is moved by the
tab on top of the clamp mount
•
Push or pull the clamp to the desired position
so that the clamp face is touching the
workpiece.

7. Forsøg ikke at skære arbejdsemner, der er
større end den tilladte størrelse.
8. Når der skæres, må man ikke placere sig selv
i den retning, der skæres. Bliv altid på den
samme side.
9. Sikkerhedsanordninger skal altid være
monteret på maskinen.
10.Der skal altid skæres langsomt og forsigtigt.
Undgå at sætte skiven stødvist på
arbejdsemnet.
11. Arbejdsemnet må ikke trykkes mod skiven
med de bare hænder. Brug altid en
spændeblok og en skærm til fiksere
arbejdsemnet med.
Elektrisk sikkerhed
Advarsel! Når der bruges elektriske maskiner,
skal man altid iagttage grundlæggende
sikkerhedsforanstaltninger med henblik på at
mindske risikoen for brand, elektrisk stød og
personskade. Gennemlæs alle instruktionerne,
før maskinen tages i brug og gem dem til senere
brug.
Kontroller altid om netspændingen
svarer til værdien på typeskiltet.
Klasse II maskine – Dobbelt isolering –
Du behøver ingen jordforbindelsestik.
Udskiftning af ledninger eller stik
Gamle ledninger og stik skal smides væk, når de
er blevet udskiftet med nye. Det er farligt at sætte
stikket på en løs ledning i en stikkontakt.
Brug af forlængerledninger
Brug kun en godkendt forlængerledning, der er
egnet til indgangseffekten på maskinen. Det
minimale ledertværsnit er 1,5 mm
. Hvis der

bruges ledning på en kabeltromle, skal ledningen
altid rulles helt ud.

Kontroller indholdet ved hjælp af listen i denne
brugsanvisning for at sikre, at alt er med.
Check for beskadigelser
Check før brug, at alle dele på listen er
ubeskadigede.

Gem kassen, så produktet kan returneres i
forbindelse med service eller reparation.
Komplet samlet
Sørg for, at alle dele er komplet og korrekt samlet
før brug.
Sikkerhedsskæde
Kontroller, at stikket til maskinen er
taget ud af stikkontakten.
Der er monteret en sikkerhedskæde på saven, så
hovedet kan låses fast i nede position, når saven
skal transporteres eller gemmes af vejen.
Savehovedet løsnes:
•
Tryk ned på håndtaget og tag kæden af
krogen/tappen.
Savehovedet låses fast:
•
Tryk håndtaget ned og sæt kæden på
krogen/tappen i håndtaget.
Montering og afmontering af skæreskive

Sørg for, at stikket er taget ud af
stikkontakten, og skiven gået helt i stå.
•
Kontroller, at den nye skive er af korrekt type
og diameter og ikke rører kanten af skærmen.
Afmontering af skiven:
•
Tryk maskinens hoved en lille smule nedad.
•
Åbn afskærmningen og fastgør den i position
åben ved hjælp krogen (6): krogen kan
fastgøres på undersiden til venstre i
håndtaget (2).
•
Skru vingemøtrikken af skærmen (A).
•
Tryk skærmen op for at komme til bolten, der
holder skiven.
•
Tryk skivestopperen, der sidder på
motorhuset lige under håndtaget, mod skiven.
•
Idet skivestopperen trykkes ind, drejes skiven
med hånden, indtil den går i indgreb.
•
Med 17 mm gaffelnøglen (B) (medfølger)
løsnes bolten (1), der holder skiven.
•
Tag bolt, spændeskive og låseskive af og fjern
derefter den ydre skiveflange.
