Manuelle Desinfektion
Das Medizinprodukt muss vollständig in eine
Desinfektionslösung eingetaucht werden. Selbst
eingeschränkt zugängliche Oberflächen und
vorhandene Lumen müssen durch Zerlegen, Öffnen
und gezieltes Befüllen blasenfrei benetzt werden.
Am Ende der Einwirkzeit nach Herstellerangaben,
muss das Medizinprodukt mehrfach gespült
werden, um sämtliche Chemikalienrückstände
zu entfernen. Hierfür ist Wasser bestmöglicher
Qualität unter Berücksichtigung länderspezifischer
Regularien zu verwenden. Abschließend erfolgt eine
vollständige Trocknung aller Oberflächen, Gelenke,
Öffnungen, Kanäle und Lumen mit (bevorzugt
medizinischer) Druckluft nach länderspezifischer
Regularien. Dazu eignet sich die Reinigungspistole
mit Zubehör (Art.-Nr. 27660).
6. 6. 1 Low-Level-Desinfektion (LLD)
KARL STORZ empfiehlt für die Low-Level-
Desinfektion des C-MAC
S USB IMAGER
®
medizinische Reinigungstücher mit 0,1 %
Hypochlorit. Ein Beispiel für solche Tücher sind
Clorox Healthcare Germicidal Wipes.
Grundsätzlich empfehlen wir für den C-MAC
USB IMAGER eine High-Level-Desinfektion.
Wenn der C-MAC
S USB IMAGER jedoch,
®
wie vorgesehen, mit einem C-MAC
Blade für
®
Einmalgebrauch verwendet wird und nach der
Anwendung keine sichtbaren Rückstände auf
dem IMAGER zu sehen sind, ist eine Low-Level-
Desinfektion vertretbar.

Manual disinfection
The medical device must be completely immersed
in a disinfectant solution. Through disassembling
and opening the instrument, and filling in a targeted
manner, it must be ensured that even surfaces
with restricted access and any lumina are covered
and no air bubbles are present. At the end of
the necessary exposure time as specified by the
manufacturer, the medical device must be rinsed
several times in order to remove all chemical
residues. To this end, water of the best possible
quality must be used, taking into account the
national regulations. Finally, all of the surfaces,
joints, openings, channels and lumina are dried
completely with (preferably sterile) compressed air
in accordance with the national regulations. The
cleaning gun with accessories (Art. no. 27660) is
well-suited for this purpose.
6. 6. 1 Low Level Disinfection (LLD)
KARL STORZ recommends using medical grade
cleaning wipes with 0.1% hypochlorite for low
level disinfection of the C-MAC
®
An example of such wipes are Clorox Healthcare
Germicidal Wipes.

As a general rule, we recommend high level

disinfection for the C-MAC

However, if the C-MAC
S USB IMAGER is used,

as intended, with a C-MAC
blade for single

use and no visible residues can be seen on
the IMAGER after use, low level disinfection is
acceptable.

Desinfección manual
Sumerja completamente el producto médico en
una solución desinfectante. Desmonte, abra y llene
específicamente incluso las superficies de acceso
limitado y los lúmenes para asegurarse de que
queden humedecidos sin burbujas de aire. Una vez
concluido el tiempo de aplicación según las indica-
ciones del fabricante, enjuague el producto médico
repetidas veces para eliminar todos los residuos
de productos químicos. Para ello, utilice agua de la
mejor calidad posible teniendo en cuenta las regla-
mentaciones específicas de cada país. Finalmente,
realice un secado completo de todas las superficies,
articulaciones, orificios, canales y lúmenes con aire
comprimido (preferentemente para uso médico), de
acuerdo con las reglamentaciones específicas de
cada país. A tal efecto se recomienda la pistola de
limpieza con accesorios (n.º de art. 27660).

Para la desinfección de bajo nivel (LLD) del

recomienda utilizar paños de limpieza para uso
médico con un 0,1 % de hipoclorito. Un ejemplo
de este tipo de paños es Clorox Healthcare
Germicidal Wipes.
Por regla general, recomendamos una desinfección
de nivel alto para el C-MAC
obstante, si el C-MAC
conforme a lo previsto, con una espátula C-MAC
desechable y no se encuentran residuos visibles
en el IMAGER después de su utilización, una
desinfección de bajo nivel estaría justificada.
