C-MAC
S IMAGER dienen in Verbindung

mit C-MAC
S Videolaryngoskopen zum
®
Einmalgebrauch und einem Monitor der
Visualisierung von Atemwegen und Stimmbändern
bei der endotrachealen Intubation sowie der
Inspektion und Untersuchung der oberen
Atemwege. C-MAC
S IMAGER sind zur
®
vorübergehenden Anwendung bei natürlich
invasiven Eingriffen bestimmt und sind nach
entsprechender Aufbereitung wiederverwendbar.

Kontraindikationen
Kontraindikationen, die sich direkt auf das
Produkt beziehen, sind der zeit nicht bekannt.
Die Verwendung des C-MAC
S USB IMAGER
®
in Verbindung mit einem C-MAC
S
®
Videolaryngoskopspatel zum Einmal gebrauch
und dem Patientenmonitor Tempus Pro der Firma
Philips RDT gilt als kontraindiziert, wenn nach
Meinung eines verantwortlichen Arztes eine solche
Anwendung eine Gefährdung des Pati enten hervor-
rufen würde, z. B. aufgrund des Allgemeinzustandes
des Patienten, oder die Laryngoskopie als solche
kontraindiziert ist.
C-MAC
S USB IMAGER dürfen nicht für Eingriffe
®
in direktem Kontakt mit dem ZNS (Zentralen
Nervensystem) und zentralen Herzkreislaufsystem
verwendet werden.

Diese Gebrauchsanweisung ist für Ärzte,
medizinisches Hilfpersonal und
Sterilisationsassistenten bestimmt.

Qualifikation des Anwenders
Der C-MAC
S USB IMAGER und das damit in

Kombination betriebene Zubehör zum Einmal-
gebrauch darf nur von Personen eingesetzt
werden, die über eine entsprechende medizinische
Qualifikation verfügen und mit der Technik der
Laryngoskopie vertraut sind. Die in dieser Anleitung
gegebenen Hinweise dienen lediglich der korrekten
Handhabung, Reini gung und Sterilisation des
C-MAC
S USB IMAGER. Sie sind nicht zur

Intended use
C-MAC
S IMAGERs are used in conjunction with

S video laryngoscopes for single use and

a monitor to visualize the respiratory tracts and the
vocal cords during endotracheal intubation and to
inspect and investigate the upper respiratory tract.
C-MAC
S IMAGERs are designed for transient use
®
in invasive procedures through a body orifice and
can be reused if reprocessed properly.

S USB IMAGER 8403XSB for

endotracheal intubation and for inspection of the
oropharynx in combination with the Tempus Pro
patient monitor from Philips RDT

Contraindications
No contraindications relating directly to the product
are currently known. The use of the C-MAC
USB IMAGER in conjunction with a C-MAC
video laryngoscope blade for single use and the
Tempus Pro patient monitor from Philips RDT is
contraindicated if, in the opinion of the attending
physician, the patient's health is endangered
through its use, e.g., due to the patient's
general condition or if laryngoscopy as such is
contraindicated.
The C-MAC
S USB IMAGER must not be used
®
for interventions in direct contact with the central
nervous system (CNS) and central cardiovascular
system.

This instruction manual is intended for physicians,
medical support staff and sterilization assistants.

User qualification
The C-MAC
S USB IMAGER and the accessories

for single use operated in combination may
only be used by persons with an appropriate
medical qualification and who are acquainted
with laryngoscopic techniques. The information
given in this manual only serves to instruct in the
correct handling, cleaning and sterilization of the

intervenciones que requieran contacto directo con
el SNC (sistema nervioso central) y el sistema car-
diocirculatorio central.

Cualificación del usuario

desechables utilizados en combinación con
este solamente pueden ser empleados por
personas que dispongan de la correspondiente
cualificación médica y que estén familiarizadas
con la técnica de laringoscopia. Las indicaciones

por objeto proporcionar información acerca de
la manipulación, la limpieza y la esterilización
