2. Connect the suction tube of a vacuum
cleaner (not included) to the adapter
for external dust extraction (24).
Removing the external dust
extraction:
1. Disconnect the suction tube from the
adapter for external dust extraction (24).
2. Disconnect the adapter for external
dust extraction (24).
If necessary, you can connect the
suction tube of a vacuum cleaner
directly to the device without an
adapter.
Switching the dust
blower function on/off
1. To switch on the dust blower function,
move the switch for the dust blower
function (11) to position
2. To switch it off, move the switch for the
dust blower function (11) to position
"0".
Switching the laser and
work light on/off
Press the on/off switch (19) to switch on
the laser and work light.
1x press → laser + work light
2x press → laser
3x press → work light
4x press → off

Plunge cuts

Plunge cuts may only be made in soft ma-
terials such as wood, aerated concrete,
plasterboard, etc. However, this requires a
certain amount of practice and is possible
only with short saw blades.
Plunge cuts are only allowed if the mitre
angle is 0°.
1. Place the saw with the front edge of the
baseplate (8) on the workpiece.
2. Turn the device on (see "Switching on/
off").
3. Slowly saw at an angle into the work-
piece, then bring the saw into a verti-
cal position.
4. Continue sawing along the cutting line.
5. Turn off the saw and lift it off the work-
piece after finishing work.

Working instructions

• Clamp the workpiece. Use a clamping
device for small workpieces.
• Draw a line to specify the direction in
which the saw blade is guided.
• Hold the device securely by the handle.
• Set the sawing speed.
• Adjust the mitre angle.
• Set the pendulum stroke position.
.
• Turn on the device.
• Wait until the device has reached full
speed.
• Place the bottom plate (5) on the work-
piece.
• Slowly move the device along the
marked line, pressing the bottom plate
firmly against the workpiece.
• Do not apply too much pressure to the
device. Let the device do the work.
• Before shutting down the device, switch
it off and wait for it to come to a com-
plete standstill.

Cleaning and Servicing

Before carrying out work on
the device, switch it off and
unplug the mains plug.
You should have any repair and
maintenance work that is not de-
scribed in these instructions carried
