• The children are forbidden to have contacts with the controls and with the electric equipment in general, in parti-
cular during and immediately after the operation in order to avoid lesions, and with the packing (bags, polystyre-
ne, metal parts, etc;);
• Do not obstruct the openings of ventilation and heat removal;
• Do not cook sweets by adding alcoholic beverages, e.g. rum, cognac, wine, etc; the alcohol evaporates at high
temperatures, so it is not excluded that the released vapours could be ignited;
• Do not heat or cook in the electric equipment foods in closed jars; due to the pressure developing inside, the jar
could burst, by damaging the electric equipment;
• Do not use containers of synthetic material (with the exception of the suitable ones) for baking: they could melt
at high temperatures;
• Do not touch the electric equipment when bare-footed with wet or damp hands or feet;
• Do not use direct water jets or other liquids.
• The manufacturer declines any responsibility.
• The user is anyway responsible for the damages caused by the failure to respect the specified normal use condi-
tions. For further doubts, please contact the authorized assistance centre.
4.4. WARNINGS ON THE RESIDUAL RISKS
The work environment must comply with the requirements of the directive 89/654/EEC. The work area must be free of foreign
objects. The employer, according to the directive 89/391/EEC regarding the introduction of measures to encourage improvements in
the safety and health of workers at work, must eliminate or reduce the indicated residual risks, as foreseen in the present manual. It
is necessary that the use, the maintenance and the cleaning are entrusted to trained and competent personnel. It is responsibility of
the employer to ensure that the use instructions are duly understood by the personnel; it is besides responsibility of the user:
• to take steps to attend professional training courses, eventually in collaboration with the machine manufacturer, in such a way
that the operators and the maintenance technicians are duly trained;
• to supply individual protection equipment complying with the directive 89/656/EEC and following amendments;
• to have the use, the maintenance and the cleaning carried out by qualified personnel.
The employer must arrange to instruct the personnel on the risks of accidents, on safety equipment and on the general
rules for accident prevention envisaged by European Union directives and by the legislation of the country in which
the machine is installed.

4.5. RESIDUAL RISKS

Table of the residual risks (Table 4.5.):
The lifting and transport operations of the electric equipment present a residual risk mainly due to im-
pacts, crushing, dragging, slipping or grazing. The responsible for the handling and transport operations
must duly inform the personnel about these residual risks. The responsible personnel for the handling,
the operator and the maintenance technician must not only be duly informed and trained and respect the
foreseen use rules, but they must also use protection devices for the head, hands, feet and suitable clothing.
In order to avoid, during the normal use of the electric equipment and during the operations of mainte-
nance, the dangers of slipping and/or fall on the reference plane (walk-over flooring), the operator and
the maintenance technician must not only be duly informed and trained, but they must also use suitable
protection devices for the feet, such as nonslip footwear, resistant and suitable to the particular nature of
the risk. The user must anyway keep the walk-over flooring, on which the operator and the maintenance
technician move, clean without substances causing the slipping, such as liquids or any type of granular
or powdered substance.
