3. Training with the resistance bands
Notes:
The resistance bands are wear items that can wear out over time.
䕲
Regular care can prolong the life of the resistance bands. For example, commercial
䕲
baby powder can be used for this purpose.
Before each use of the resistance bands, they should be checked for damage in order
䕲
to avoid sudden tearing.
Avoid exposing the resistance bands to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
䕲
Do not bring the resistance bands into contact with sharp-edged objects and, if possi-
䕲
ble, do not use them on rough surfaces.
Always store the resistance bands in a dry place.
䕲
Disinfectants and chemical cleaners are not suitable for cleaning the resistance bands.
䕲
When redirecting two bands via the upper or lower D-ring, it is advisable to use two
䕲
separate carabiners that are attached to the D-ring to prevent the two resistance
bands from rubbing against each other and thus counteracting premature wear.
