11. Using the magnetic holder

Four sets of magnetic holders are included. Each set consists of 2 parts; see
figure on the right (magnetic holders may have small plastic residues that can
be easily removed).
Use a suitable piece of fishing line (with a larger cross-section than that of the
fishing line for your fishing rod) to attach the slightly larger holder (see figure on
the left) to the eye lug (section 7, no. 8) on the boat stern. The length should be
about 5-10 cm.
Use one of the included rubber rings to secure the holder to the fishing line. To do this, pass the fishing line through the
rubber ring; then slide the rubber ring onto the holder hook so that the fishing line lies within the eyelet.
Now attach the fishing line to the slightly smaller counterpart of the magnetic holder. Again use a rubber ring to secure
the holder to the fishing line so that it does not get lost. Pass the fishing line through the rubber ring and then slide the
rubber ring onto the holder hook. The fishing line must lie within the holder's eyelet.
With the fishing hook/bait/float on the magnetic holder, you can now steer the model boat to the desired location in
the water.
If a fish bites, the magnetic connection is released when it is struck/hit (of course, the magnetic connection can also
be released before a fish bites if it is struck/hit).
The stern of the model boat must point towards you when the magnetic connection is struck/hit so that the
fishing line does not get caught on the model boat.
When retrieving the fishing line, the holder can easily be removed so that it does not get caught in the fishing reel or
interfere with reeling.

12. Using the carrying aid

The plastic hook serves as a carrying aid for the transmitter. After you have mounted
the retaining lug on the transmitter (see section 8. b) and attached a strap to it, you
can mount the plastic hook e.g. on a waist belt and hang the transmitter on it using the
strap. As your hands are now free, you can hold the fishing rod while the transmitter is
always at hand.
Of course, the plastic hook can be mounted in another place so that the transmitter
is within easy reach, for example, on a suitable folding chair, shoulder bag or the like.
