9. Using the feed flap

a) Closing the feed flap

First close the flap (1) and then the flap (2). You cannot do
this in the reverse order.
Finally, slide the locking slide (3) in the direction of the
flaps until it clicks into place (see arrow).
You can then turn the model boat over and fill the fish bait
container (section 7, no. 5) with the desired fish feed.
Do not use pasty or wet fish feed. Otherwise it
may partially or completely stick to the fish bait
container and cannot fall into the water.
Make sure you use the appropriate fish feed
that can pass through the feed flap.

b) Opening the feed flap

Once the model boat is in the desired location in the water, press the "D.OPEN" button (section 7, no. 20) on the
transmitter. This releases the flap lock on the model boat and the locking slide jumps back into the starting position.
The flaps open and the fish feed falls into the water.
Never unlock the locking slide with your hand. Otherwise this will damage the integrated mechanics, which
will void the warranty/guarantee! Only use the transmitter and the "D.OPEN" button on it to unlock the lock-
ing slide!
Drive your model boat back.

c) Transporting a fish hook/bait

If you guide the fishing line from below into the fish bait
container, you can transport a fish hook/bait (possibly with
a float attached) to the desired location in the water. One
of the flaps has a dedicated small U-shaped opening (1)
for the fishing line.
You can use this opening to "drop" the fish hook/bait by
opening the feed flap.
Make sure that you do not drive the model boat over the fishing line. Despite the propellers' protective grille,
the fishing line could get into the drive and disable it.
