10. Drive and steering functions

The drive and steering functions are implemented by means of the two propellers rotating in different directions.
Thus, the model boat does not require a mechanical steering gear. This improves manoeuvrability of the model boat,
especially given its inherently low speed.

a) Forward/backward travel

If the model tends to deviate slightly to the left or right when moving straight, this can be balanced with the
steering trim ("ST/TRIM" trim buttons, section 7, no. 17) on the transmitter; keep pressing the button until
the boat moves straight ahead (slight deviations are normal):
Model boat deviates to the left = "R" button
Model boat deviates to the right = "L" button

b) Steering motion

If you leave the throttle trigger switch in the neutral (middle) position and only turn the rotary wheel, the
model boat performs a small turning circle.

Pull the throttle trigger switch towards the handle to make the model boat move forward.
Push the throttle trigger switch away from the handle to make the model boat move back-
ward.
Move the rotary wheel to the right while steering so that the model boat moves to the right.
Move the rotary wheel to the left while steering so that the model boat moves to the left.
