• Check the product for damage before each use. Do not use the product if you discover any damage.
• Before each use, check the trim settings for different control directions on the remote control, and if
necessary, adjust them.
• Always switch the transmitter on first. Only then you may connect the model boat's drive battery and
switch the model boat on. Otherwise the receiver may respond unpredictably.
c) During use
• Do not take any risks when using the product! Always use the model boat responsibly, otherwise you
may endanger yourself and your surroundings.
• Keep objects and body parts away from the propeller's spinning and intake area when it is running.
• The two propellers are located inside a plastic grille that protects them from leaves and branches. Never
insert any objects or body parts through this grille in order to avoid the risk of injury from the sharp-edged
or running propeller.
• Operate the model boat in a suitable body of water. If in doubt, ask the person responsible for the body
of water whether the operation of your model boat is permitted there. Model boat operation is prohibited
in various fishing waters, which may also not be used as an aid to feeding fish.
• Even though the propeller is protected by a plastic grille, thinner plant parts (e.g. seaweed) can hinder
the propulsion. Therefore, keep away from visible plant parts if possible.
• When afloat, pay attention to currents and other adverse conditions that make it difficult or even impos-
sible to operate the model boat. The model boat should only be operated in still or very slow-flowing
waters due to its inherently low speed.
• Even though the model boat moves slowly, its improper operation may cause severe personal injury and
property damage! Always ensure that the model boat is kept away from people, animals and objects
during use. Never drive the model boat directly at people or animals that are swimming in the water.
• You may only operate your model boat if your ability to react is unhindered. Fatigue, alcohol and medica-
tion can affect your ability to respond.
• Should any malfunctions occur during operation, which may result in the model boat drifting uncontrol-
lably and/or without propulsion in the water or e.g. getting stuck in water plants, do not put your life in
danger while attempting to retrieve it from the water.
Do not take any risks when retrieving the model boat. Watch out for currents and other boat traffic in
the body of water. If necessary, use an aid to retrieve the model boat from the water (e.g. rowing boat).
Never attempt to retrieve the model boat alone, always engage an assistant who can observe what is
happening around and call for help in an emergency.
• Never point the transmitter antenna directly at the model boat. This significantly worsens the signal
transmission from the transmitter to the model boat.
• The remote control (transmitter) should always remain switched on as long as the model boat is in
operation. Make sure you always switch off the model boat first when ending operation. Then completely
disconnect the drive battery from the model boat. Only then should you switch off the remote control
(transmitter).
• In the event of a defect or malfunction, be sure to eliminate the cause of the fault before resuming opera-
tion of the model boat.
• Do not expose your model boat and the remote control to direct sunlight or extreme heat for extended
periods of time.
