g) Activating the drive control

First switch on the transmitter, see chapter 10. c) and 10. d), if you have not already done so!
Then switch on the drive control unit (switch position "I").

h) Checking drive and steering functions

Prior to each drive, check whether the settings on the transmitter are correct and whether the vehicle responds correctly
in line with the control commands sent by the transmitter. The control buttons and the programming of the transmitter
are described in Chapters 11 and 12.
As previously explained in chapter 10. f), the vehicle is to be placed on a suitable surface such as a
cardboard box or a starter box, so that the wheels can turn freely.

i) Attaching and fastening the car body

Guide the tube of the antenna from underneath the car body through the hole intended for that purpose. If there is no
opening yet, you can easily create one using a suitable tool.
Now put the car body on the attachments and secure it with the attachment clips removed at the start.
Your car is now ready for its first test run.

j) Steering of the vehicle

• The vehicle is moved forwards and backwards using the forwards/backwards lever (see fig 1, pos 10).
• The dial (see fig 1, pos. 11) serves to control steering.
• With the switching button (see fig 5) on the bottom of the handle switches the
steering function.
Both the front and rear axles can be steered. Four different steering modes (figure
6) make this vehicle very manoeuvrable - despite the principally locked axles (no
differential in rear or back axle, as otherwise no decent forward drive would be
possible).
