5.3 Four wire connection

If the force transducers have to be operated with an amplifier in four wire
connection, then connect the black wire with the grey and the green wire
with the blue. This changes transducer sensitivity by 0.022 %. The change in
the temperature coefficient of sensitivity (TK ) is neglible. Changing the ca

ble length changes the sensitivity. There is no correction for the effects of tem
perature on the cable. In fact, even with four wire connection the accuracy ob
tained is adequate for many measurement technology requirements.
