P-touch Editor Version 3.1 Installation
(for Windows® 95/98/Me/NT 4.0/2000)
Before installing P-touch Editor Version 3.1, be sure to
read the serial port or USB port connection instructions
for your operating system.
Install P-touch Editor Version 3.1 as described below.
1 Insert the P-touch Editor Version 3.1 CD-ROM into the
computer's CD-ROM drive. A dialogue box that allows
you to select the language appears. Select the
language of Windows that you are using, and then
click the OK button.
If the dialogue box does not automatically appear,
double-click "My Computer" on the desktop, double-
click the icon for the CD-ROM drive containing the
CD-ROM, and then double-click "P-touch" to display
the dialogue box.
2 Click the top button (P-touch Editor).
3 In the dialogue box that allows you to select the
model, click the icon for the PT-9200DX.

Editor software starts up, and then the Welcome
dialogue box appears.
4 Carefully read the contents of the dialogue box, and
then click the Next button to continue.
5 In the User Information dialogue box, type the
necessary information into the appropriate boxes, and
then click the Next button.
If the information has already been registered in
Windows®, it will appear in the appropriate boxes.
6 A dialogue box asking for confirmation on the entered
information appears. Click the Yes button to register
the entered information.
To change the information, click the No button, and
then change it.
