„Down" die gewünschte Aufnahmegeschwindig-
keit einstellen. Es kann gewählt werden zwischen
den Einstellungen 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 und 18A. Bei
Audioaufzeichnungen muss 18A gewählt wer-
den. Siehe auch Kap. 13.1.
6) Sind alle Angaben in dieser Zeile durchgeführt,
zur Bestätigung die Taste „MENU" drücken. (Falls
die Aufnahme durch die Einstellung „OFF" in der
Spalte „DAY" deaktiviert wurde, blenden sich nach
dem Bestätigen alle Einstellungen der Zeile aus.
Sie sind jedoch wieder zu sehen, wenn die Zeile
erneut über die Taste „ENTER" aktiviert wird.)
7) Für weitere timergesteuerte Aufnahmen die ent-
sprechenden Einstellungen in den folgenden Zei-
len durchführen.
Um die Timer-Funktion nutzen zu können, muss
diese generell eingeschaltet werden:
„TIMER ENABLE"
Ein-/Ausschalten der Timer-Funktion
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„TIMER ENABLE" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" die Timer-Funktion einschalten („YES")
oder ausschalten („NO").
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
Zum Verlassen der Menüseite die Taste „MENU"
drücken.

6) If all indications in this line are made, press the
key "MENU" to confirm. (If the recording has
been deactivated by the setting "OFF" in the
column "DAY", all settings of the line will extin-
guish after confirmation. However, they can be
viewed again if the line is reactivated via the key
"ENTER".)
7) For further timer-controlled recordings make the
corresponding settings in the following lines.
To be able to use the timer function, it must generally
be activated:

1) Select the line "TIMER ENABLE" with the cursor

2) Press the key "ENTER".

Auf dieser Menüseite werden die Aufnahmepara-
meter eingestellt, die für die manuelle Aufnahme
und für die Alarmaufnahme gelten. Außerdem bietet
dieses Menü die Möglichkeit, die Überschreibfunk-
tion einzuschalten.
„HDD OVERWRITE":
Ein-/Ausschalten der Überschreibfunktion
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" (3) oder „Down" (20)
die Zeile „HDD OVERWRITE" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" (11) drücken.
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" die Option „NO" oder „YES" einstellen.
Aufzeichnung eingestellt: Ist nur eine Festplatte
installiert, wird sie neu beschrieben, wenn ihre
Speicherkapazität erschöpft ist. Ist eine zweite
Festplatte installiert, werden die Aufnahmen zu-
nächst auf dieser fortgeführt. Sind dann beide
Festplatten voll, werden sie überschrieben.
Aufnahme, wenn die Speicherkapazität der Fest-
platte(n) erschöpft ist. Ein Warnsignal ertönt
dann kurz und es leuchtet die Anzeige „HDD Full"
in der LED-Reihe (18).

On this menu page the recording parameters are set
which apply to the manual recording and to the
alarm recording. Furthermore, this menu offers the
possibility to switch on the overwrite function.
"HDD OVERWRITE"

1) Select the line "HDD OVERWRITE" with the cur-
sor key "Up" (3) or "Down" (20).
2) Press the key "ENTER" (11).

den zwischen „BEST" (beste Qualität), „HIGH",
„NORMAL" und „BASIC" (niedrigste Qualität).
Die Aufnahmequalität einer Aufnahme wird
über den Grad der Bildkompression bestimmt: Je
höher die Aufnahmequalität, desto geringer ist
die Bildkompression. Dementsprechend benöti-
gen Aufnahmen mit einer höheren Aufnahmequa-
lität mehr Speicherplatz (siehe auch Kap. 13.1).
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
Unter „ALARM REC IPS" wird die Aufnahmege-
schwindigkeit und unter „ALARM REC QUALITY"
die Aufnahmequalität für Alarmaufnahmen (d. h. Auf-
nahmen, die durch ein externes Alarmsignal oder
durch den internen Bewegungsmelder ausgelöst
werden) eingestellt. Für Alarmaufnahmen sollten
Aufnahmegeschwindigkeit und -qualität möglichst
hoch gewählt werden. Zum Durchführen der Einstel-
lungen siehe unter „REC IPS" und „REC QUALITY".

The recording quality of a recording is de-
termined via the rate of the picture compression:
the higher the recording quality, the lower the pic-
ture compression. Accordingly, recordings with a
higher recording quality require more storage
location (also see chapter 13.1).
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
The recording speed for alarm recordings (i. e. re-
cordings triggered by an external alarm signal or by
the internal motion detector) is set under "ALARM
REC IPS" and the recording quality for alarm record-
ings under "ALARM REC QUALITY". For alarm
recordings, recording speed and recording quality
should be as high as possible. To make the settings,
refer to "REC IPS" and "REC QUALITY".
MOTION TRIGGER RECORD
(activating/deactivating alarm recording if a move-
ment is detected)
1) Select the line MOTION TRIGGER RECORD
with the cursor key "Up" or "Down".
