12 Festplatte auswechseln

A
Um die Festplatte vor Beschädigung zu schüt-
zen, vor dem Herausnehmen des Festplatten-

einschubs das Gerät ausschalten und mindes-
tens eine Minute verstreichen lassen.
Es sollten nur die im Kapitel 13.2 aufgeführten
Festplattentypen verwendet werden.
Der Recorder ist mit zwei Festplatteneinschüben (6)
ausgestattet, von denen einer mit einer 160-GB-
Festplatte bestückt ist. In den leeren Einschub kann
eine zweite Festplatte eingesetzt werden. Zum
schnellen und einfachen Austausch weiterer Fest-
platten sind zusätzliche Festplatteneinschübe mit
der Bezeichnung DVR-108AM von MONACOR er-
hältlich. Eine voll beschriebene Festplatte kann so
komplett mit dem Einschub archiviert und bei Bedarf
später überschrieben werden.

12.1 Festplatteneinschub herausnehmen

1) Die Abdeckklappe (5) öffnen. Dazu rechts oben
auf die Markierung der Klappe drücken.
2) Zum Herausnehmen muss der Festplattenein-
schub über das Schloss (7) entriegelt werden.
Dem Recorder liegen zwei Schlüssel bei. Die
Abbildung 5 zeigt die zwei möglichen Schloss-
positionen:

Den Schlüssel ins Schloss stecken und gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn in Position „B" drehen.
3) Der Einschub ist jetzt entriegelt. Den Griff des
Einschubs hochklappen und den Einschub am
Griff aus dem Aufnahmeschacht des Recorders
ziehen.

12 Replacing the Hard Disk

To protect the hard disk against damage, switch
off the unit prior to removing the hard disk inser-
tion and wait for at least one minute.
Only the hard disk types mentioned in chapter
13.2 should be used.
The recorder is equipped with two hard disk inser-
tions (6), of which one is equipped with a 160 GB
hard disk. A second hard disk can be inserted in the
empty insertion compartment. For fast and easy
replacement of further hard disks, additional hard
disk insertions with the designation MONACOR
DVR-108AM are available. A hard disk which is full
can thus completely be archived together with the
insertion and be overwritten later, if required.

12.1 Removing the hard disk insertion

1) Open the cover (5). For this purpose press the
marking on the top right corner of the cover.
2) For removing, the hard disk insertion must be
unlocked via the lock (7). Two keys are supplied
with the recorder. Figure 5 shows the two possi-
ble locking positions:

Put the key into the lock and turn it counterclock-
wise to position "B".
3) The insertion is now unlocked. Fold up the
handle of the insertion and pull the insertion at
the handle out of the insertion compartment of
the recorder.

12.2 Inserting a new hard disk

1) When using one hard disk only, configure it as
