8. MAINTENANCE

8.1

Calibration

Periodically verify calibration by placing an accurate weight on the balance and viewing the result. If calibration is
required, refer to section 5.2 for instructions.
8.2

Cleaning

WARNING: Disconnect the balance from the power supply before cleaning.
Make sure that no liquid enters the interior of the balance.
Clean the Balance at regular intervals.
Housing surfaces may be cleaned with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a
mild cleaning agent.
Glass surfaces may be cleaned with a commercial glass cleaner.
Attention: Do not use solvents, harsh chemicals, ammonia or abrasive cleaning agents.

Possible Cause
Weight reading exceeds Power On Zero limit.
Weight reading below Power On Zero limit.
Weight reading exceeds overload limit.
Weight reading below underload limit.
Reference Weight too small. The weight on the pan is too small to define a
valid reference weight. Add additional samples.
A warning that the reference weight is below the recommended value for
accurate parts counting. Add additional samples if possible otherwise
counting continues with diminished accuracy.
Busy (tare, zero, and printing).
Function not executed.
Timeout
IDNR Error
