Now tighten the M8x25 mm screws to 30 Nm to fix
the stabiliser rod in place and secure with the lock
nuts.
Make sure that the centre of the stabiliser, which you
just marked, is still in the middle below the caravan/
trailer.

Finally, check that the clamping assembly is comple-
te, in good working order and properly seated.
Please check that all screws have been fastened and
no parts were forgotten.
6. Installation,
electrical system ž
Separate the 12 V and 230 V supply from the battery
and the power mains.
Working on the electrical installation wi-
thout first separating the power supply po-
ses a mortal risk!
E1 Installing the base station
Select a suitable place for the installation of the base
station, e.g. in the seat or bed base, ideally in imme-
diate proximity of the drive units within a minimum
distance of 40 cm to the battery. The base station can
be installed on the floor or on the wall.
Pay attention to whether a horizontal or
vertical position is required when moun-
ting on a wall!
Use the appropriate screws to mount the base sta-
tions. Remove the housing covers from the base sta-
tions by pushing the 2 clips forwards in each case.
To connect the driving cables, drill 1 hole for each
cable, minimum diameter of 25 mm, approximately
150 mm away from the base stations in the vehicle
floor. Make sure that nothing is installed and there are
no load-bearing parts in or under the floor, or behind
the wall, in the area where you are drilling the holes.
E2 Connecting the motors/motor drive/brake
Lay the cables supplied with the left and right dri-
ve unit to the base station. You must take note of the
connection diagram ‡. Thread the connections for
the base stations up and through the bore holes you
just created.
Use the clamps provided to route and secure the cab-
les. Use the electrical installation pipe that is already
on the cable to protect the cable against sharp edges.
Mark the cable for the left and right drive unit to en-
sure safe installation.
Always keep the cables for all drive units at the same
length.
Never route the cables directly above the base sta-
tions or other electronic devices. They could become
damaged due to the strong magnetic radiation gene-
rated during operation.
