4. Installed situation
Please take note:
• Loosen the parking brake of the caravan/trailer be-
fore starting to manoeuvre (position of the drive
rollers see Figure 3.2 = ON) with the manoeuvring
drive. Re-tighten the parking brake after manoeu-
vring and only then swivel off the driving rollers
(Figure 3.1 = OFF).
• The easydriver does not replace the par-
king brake
• The easydriver is not an anti-theft device!
• Persons (in particular children) may not remain in
the caravan/trailer or within its manoeuvring ran-
ge during operation.
• Never allow children to play with the easydriver.
• The easydriver may only be operated by adults.
• Do not stay near the drive rollers during operation.
• Consider the operating range of the remote control
(approx. 10 m).
• The tyres on the caravan/trailer must be of the
same type.
• The tyre pressure must correspond to the pressure
specified in the operating instructions of the cara-
van/trailer.
• Point the towbar downwards where possible when
manoeuvring on inclines.
• Never use the easydriver when the caravan/trailer
is still connected to a towing vehicle.
• Observe the caravan/trainer and its proximity du-
ring the manoeuvring process.
• The total weight and the payload of the caravan/
trainer are affected by the easydriver.
• Do not use the easydriver as a jack support.
• Remove sharp stones from the tyres before using
the easydriver.
Floor Caravan
L-profile
The chassis frames of caravans and trailers are classi-
fied into L- and U-profiles. They require different, ad-
ditional fastening sets, depending on the vehicle and
the installation conditions. These fastening sets are
optionally available. Check the installation dimensi-
ons of your easydriver in Figure 5.1.
Parts of the chassis, axle suspensions or braking fa-
cility may under no circumstances be removed, chan-
ged or affected.
In Germany, all changes to the chassis re-
quire approval by a motor vehicle expert!
Note:
We accept no liability for damage resulting from
non-compliance with these instructions. Subject to
change; errors excepted.
Note:
If a mud flap is fitted as part of the type approval
for the caravan/trailer, the drive must be installed
in front of the axle.
One option is to remove the mud flap and replace
it with Reich's universal mud flap (part no. 227-
2586), which must be adjusted to fit
