YOUR SPARK
Based on the Element2 our long established school training wing,
the Spark is the ideal wing with which to start your paramotoring
career. The Spark is suitable for beginner and low airtime pilots
who are learning and discovering this wonderful sport.
The inflation is smooth and progressive with positive pressure
through the risers making it easy to feel exactly where the glider is
at all times. This makes both forward and reverse launches simple,
the wing has very little tendency to over shoot or sit back behind
the pilot.
In the air the Spark is a joy to fly, brake pressure is progressive,
building continuously as more brake is applied and becoming hard
as the stall point is reached. The brake range is long, minimis-
ing the likelihood of accidental stalls, whilst still retaining positive
handling and landing characteristics. The progressive nature of the
handling gives the Spark great turning behaviour with or without
weight-shift; this is an ideal characteristic in a motor/free flight
wing. The Spark has a large usable speed range, at full speed the
leading edge remains solid, even in turbulence. It is well damped
in pitch, this helps it cut through turbulence efficiently making it
very resistant to deflations and improving the re-inflation charac-
teristics. High stability in pitch and roll creates an overall feeling of
comfort and security in flight.
Made from Dominico 30D the Spark is light, durable and cost ef-
fective, it features special paramotoring trim risers and is certified
to the EN standard. With ultimate ease of inflation, simple ground-
handling characteristics and uncompromised in-flight passive
safety, the Spark is the perfect choice for the aspiring paramotor
pilot, giving both pilot and instructor confidence and peace of mind
alike.

Bag
The Spark comes with the Easy bag as standard. It has been de-
signed to be easy to use and comfortable. It has a large volume,
enough to easily accommodate a mushroomed wing store and all
your kit.

Brake Lines

The brake line lengths have been set carefully during testing. We
feel it is better to have slightly long brake lines and to fly with a
wrap (one turn of line around the hand). However, if you do choose
to adjust them, please bear in mind the following:
Ensure both main brake lines are of equal length.
If a brake handle has been removed, check that its line is still
routed through the pulley when it is replaced.
When the brake handles are released in flight, the brake lines
should be slack. There must be a substantial "bow" in them to
guarantee no deformation of the trailing edge.
There must be a minimum of 10cm of free play before the
brakes begin to deform the trailing edge. This prevents the
trailing edge from being deformed when using the speed sys-
tem.
IMPORTANT: In the unlikely event of a brake line snapping
in flight, or a handle becoming detached, the glider can be
flown by gently pulling the rear risers (C-risers).
Risers
The Spark has been designed with 3 rows of lines and risers. Each
riser is covered with coloured webbing, this allows them to be eas-
ily identified.
You will notice that the A's are split in two parts, the small riser on
the back holding only the outer A line, is the "Baby A"; it has been
designed to make applying "Big Ears" simple.
The risers feature adjust brake height positions and trimmers.
