tomatoes, sausages, aubergines or
similar food with a closed skin before
cooking to prevent bursting.
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Heating the liquid can cause so-called
'delayed boiling'. The liquid then reach-
es boiling temperature without any
outward visible sign of boiling. Even a
small vibration may cause the liquid to
suddenly spray out, for example when
removing it from the microwave oven.
Heating of drinks with microwaves

may result in delayed boiling ("super-
heating"). Therefore, care should be
taken when handling the container.
In order to avoid a boiling delay, place
■
a spoon in the container. The spoon
must be at least 2 cm away from the
interior walls of the microwave at all
times.
Do not use tall, thin containers with a
■
narrow top section.
Please ensure you stir the food be-
■
fore eating and after half the cook-
ing time has elapsed.
Please wait a short moment after
■
heating up; carefully tip the dish and
stir before removing the container
from the cooking compartment.
The contents of baby bottles and jars
■
containing baby food must be agitat-
ed or shaken, and the temperature
must be checked before use to avoid
burns.
Safety
NOTICE
Metal in the cooking compartment may
cause sparks in the microwave mode
and combi mode! This could destroy the
microwave and the viewing window!
Do not use metal pots, metal pans

and metal lids or cookware with met-
al parts such as gold edges under any
circumstances.
Do not use any aluminium foil, due
■
to the fact that this can also cause
sparks when coming into contact
with the cooking compartment walls.
Never operate the microwave with-

out the glass baking tray and without
food!
Never use the oven rack and the drip-
■
ping pan in the microwave mode.
