Disconnect the electrode cable by pulling it in a right angle to the electrode
(Fig. 9). If you wish to use the cable again, cut approx. 5 mm from the free
end of the cable and start again at Fig. 5.
7.2 Inserting the Electrode
Slightly round off the edges of the hole in the inner socket. Apply 617H46
Bonding Agent into the groove of the electrode pad (Fig. 10). Align the elec­
trodes proximally and insert them into the socket from inside.
7.3 Electrode Adjustment
For optimal adjustment of the electrode use the 757M11 Ottobock MyoBoy.
During the initial fitting or after repairs the sensitivity of the electrode has to
be adjusted to the muscle signal based on the chosen control (see Instruc­
tions for Use of the prosthetic components) (Fig. 11). Adjust with the
included adjustment tool (Fig. 1, item 4).
INFORMATION
For demonstration purposes, the prosthesis in Figure 11 has been cut
open.
Set the electrode gain as low as possible. The patient must be able to hold
the maximum value applicable to the respective control for approx. 2
seconds. If the sensitivity is set too high, the control of the prosthesis will
become more difficult for those patients with low signals, and interference
susceptibility will increase considerably. Readjust the electrode after a peri­
od of 10 ‒ 15 minutes, since the formation of sweat on the skin will reduce
the skin interface resistance. After that, the electrode will not need to be
readjusted again (with a few exceptions).

This product must not be disposed of with regular domestic waste.
Disposal that is not in accordance with the regulations of your country
