5. The NMEA interface
The VDO Ocean Line Combi receives data from a NMEA transmitter.
This data is transferred via the NMEA 0183 interface. The data received
by the indicator can be found in the following table. Please extract
further details from the respective chapters of the NMEA 0183
standards.

6. The Easy Link interface
The VDO Ocean Line Combi indicator transmits all received data to the
connected Easy Link Slave indicator via the Easy Link interface.
The Slave indicators work according to the "Plug and Play” principle.
This means that they can be connected during current operation and
are immediately operative. Appropriate configuration of the VDO Ocean
Line Combi indicator is unnecessary.
The following Easy Link slave indicators are available on the printing
date of these instructions:
- Voltmeter 8 - 16V
- Voltmeter 18 - 32V
