3.5 The main functions

The main functions of the VDO Ocean Line Combi are recallable via the
push-button. The respectively next measured value is displayed with
each keystroke.
- boat speed
- water depth
- sea water temperature
- total and daily distance
- on-board voltage
If you keep the push-button depressed for 4 seconds, you may select a
subfunction depending on the displayed value.
Displayed value:
Boat speed
Water depth
Water temperature
Total and daily distance
On-board voltage
Change of illumination:
The roll bar for illumination adjustment appears. You can change the
illumination of the speed counter and the connected bus indicator in 8
stages by repeatedly pressing the push-button. The indicator returns to
normal operating mode 8 seconds after the last keystroke. The
illumination setting is maintained even after deactivation and
reactivation of the power supply.
Please observe that the illumination can only be set, if "External
Illumination” is INTERNALLY set.
Setting the alarm:
If you select "YES" here, you will be requested to enter the alarm depth.
