3. Align the setting device using the vertical adjusting
mechanism. To do so, turn the knurled screw (Fig. 23,
Pos. 2) and check the alignment using the spirit level
which is attached to the reflector (Fig. 23, Pos. 3).
4. Set the setting device to the horizontal (H) and verti-
cal (V) mirror-adjustment values displayed by the BMW
diagnosis system.

The mirror is now aligned in relation to the driving axis
of the vehicle to be tested (precondition for perform-
ing basic visual sensor setting).

If the ACC 100 is passed on, all the documentation
included in the scope of delivery must be handed over
together with the unit.
¶
The ACC 100 is only ever to be transported in the
original or equivalent packaging.
¶
Unplug the electrical connection.
¶
Heed the notes on initial commissioning.

Dismantle the ACC 100 and sort out and dispose
of the different materials in accordance with the ap-
plicable regulations.

systems for disposal.
