Stop Motor, Solenoids and PFA are special equipment for
Union Special.
The standard stop motor is supplied for 380/220 volts,
50 and 60 cycles three phase current. On special order
it
can be supplied also for other voltages or for single
phase alternating current 220/240 volts.
The KLIPP-IT mac,hine can be operated like a standard
cover seam machine
.
Toeing the treadle operates the ma-
chine
.
When releasing the treadle the machine will stop in
the needle down position. For cutting the threads, heel the
treadle
.
This will initiate the cutting, thread wiping and
presser foot lifting cycle automatically, i.e. the machine
stops in the needle up position, cuts the threads underneath
the throat plate, wipes the needle threads ends above the
presser foot and lifts the presser foot automatically. After
presser foot lifting, the fabric has to be pulled off in sew-
ing direction, to avoid loosening

cutting is possible at all sewing speeds, also at full speed
:
Hold the treadle in cutting position until cutting is finished
and the fabric is pulled off from under the lifted presser
foot.
After cutting the threads, the presser foot lifting can be
repeated by heeling the treadle. Sewing operation can only
be started with fabric under the presser foot. If the sewing
operation was started without fabric, do not raise the nee-
dles by heeling the treadle, otherwise the looper will
unthr

ad.
It is possible to raise the needles without cutting the
threads by pressing the push button next to the main
switch
.

In der Standardausfilhrung ist der Stopmotor filr Drehstrom
380/220 V, <;O und 60 Perioden,ausgelegt. Auf besondere Be-
stellung kann er jedoch auch filr andere Drehstrom-Spannungen
oder Einphasen-Wechselstrom 220/240 V geliefert werden.
Die N!iherrn kann mit der KLIPPAB-Maschine wie mit einer iib-
lichen Oberdecknaht-Mascliine arbeiten. Wird das Pedal nach vorne
getreten, startet die Maschine. Wird der Druck vom Pedal ge-
nommen, stoppt die Maschine in Nadeltiefstellung. Sollen die
F!iden abgeschnitten werden, wird das Pedal nach rUckw!irts ge-
treten und der Schneidvorgang,
da
s Fadenziehen und das Drilcker-
fullliften laufen automati.Bch ab, d. h. die Maschine geht auf Nadel-
hoch, wobei
i
n Hoch alle F!iden unter der Stichplatte getrennt
werden, Nach dem Schneiden werden die Nadelf!iden mittels des
Fadenziehers aus dem Stoff gezogen, und der Driickerfull automa -
tisch geliftet. Das N!ihgut mull nach dem Driickerfullliften in N!ih-
richtung weggezogen werden, damit die l•tzten Stiche, die die
Stichplattenzunge umschlingen, nicht gelockert werden. Es kann
bei jeder N!ihg
e
schwindigkeit, auch aus dem vollen Lauf der Ma -
schine ge
s
chnitten werden. Das Pedal mull so lange riickwarts
niedergehalten werden, bis geschnitten und die Ware unter dem
gelifteten Driickerfull weggenommen ist.
Wenn die Faden abgeschnitten sind, kann der Drilckerfull durch

ist nur im Stoff moglich. Wird versehentlich ohne Stoff mit N!ihen
begonnen
