Compact Ventilation Units AIR1 XC
If the outside air/exhaust air temperature lies below 0 °C, an electrical pre-heater must be used to prevent the unit
freezing.
The corrosion resistance level of the housing is C4 according to ISO 12944. The unit can be used under these condi-
tions.
Any use other than the intended use is prohibited!

2 .0 .1 Receipt

The delivery contains one of the following unit types:
AIR1 XC 500 Ref. no. 04330
AIR1 XC 700 Ref. no. 04331
AIR1 XC 1400 Ref. no. 04332
The scope of delivery also includes:
The vibration dampers and door keys included in the scope of delivery are located on the supply air side, see Fig. 1.
Please check delivery immediately on receipt for accuracy and damage. If damaged, please notify the
carrier immediately. In case of delayed notification, any possible claim may be void.

2 .0 .2 Storage

When storing for a prolonged time, the following steps are to be taken to avoid damaging influences:
Protection by dry, airtight and dust-proof packaging (plastic bag with desiccant and humidity indicators). The storage
place must be waterproof, vibration-free and free of temperature variations (ambient temperature limit: min. 0 °C /max.
+40 °C). Damages due to improper transportation, storage or commissioning must be verified and are not liable for
warranty.
The maximum permissible stack quantity for the units can be seen in the following table:

2 .0 .3 Shipping

The shipping must be carried out carefully. The unit is packed ex works in a timber frame so that it is protected against
normal transport strain. It is recommended to leave the unit in the original packaging until installation to avoid possible
damages and contamination.
The shipping must be carried out by trained and experienced personnel and the necessary safety precautions should
be taken to prevent overturning and slipping of the device. it should be ensured that the weight is evenly distributed
over the four corners when shipping the unit.

It must be ensured that the means of transport/lifting is suitable to accommodate to the required weight and size
capacity.
– Never stand beneath suspended loads.
– Make sure that the unit is firmly seated before lifting it.

Lifting gear, units, cables or tackle could be faulty or damaged.

Due to the high centre of gravity, the unit can tip over and cause personal injury and material damage.
